We are following Peter's line of inspiration in the revelation of Christ that Jesus spoke of. That deals with our living in Salvation's long time awaited hope of manifestation. After all we have learned of religions false doctrines of delay and future time, as being hindrances to our spiritual growth, in the true and accurate knowledge of GOD in Jesus, a man as we are and like us in every way known.
1Peter 1:17-21 "And if ye call on the Father, who without respect of persons judgeth according to every man's work, pass[1] the time of your sojourning here in fear: forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot: who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you, who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God." (KJV)

1Peter 1:17-21 "Now since we are defined in our Father, who does not judge anyone on face value, but always only according to his work; (his finished works in Christ) wherever we find ourselves located geographically or emotionally, [1]returned to our 'at-home-ness' in him, with a deep sense of GOD-consciousness; for we are not defined by circumstances. (The word, [1, G390 from G303 and G4762 ] anastrepho, suggests a radical returning; a literal turning upside down! Actually (G303) ana, means upwards-so, it's actually a turning downside up! Look at 2Corinthians 3:16's note.) It is clear to see that we were ransomed from the futile, fallen mindset that we inherited from our fathers, not by the currency of our own labor, represented by the fluctuating values of gold and silver, and the economy of their or our own religious efforts; for we are redeemed with the priceless blood of Christ; he is the ultimate sacrifice; spotless and without blemish. He completed the prophetic picture! (In him GOD spoke the most radical scapegoat language of the Law of judgment, and brought final closure to a dead and redundant religious system! In Psalm 40:6-7, it is clearly stated that GOD does not require sacrifices or offerings! Jesus was that Lamb of GOD! He collides victoriously with the futile sacrificial system whereby offerings are constantly made to the pseudo, moody, monster gods of mans trumped up imagination! This is the scandal of the cross! GOD does not demand a sacrifice that would change the way he thinks about his humanity; he provided the sacrifice of himself as Christ in order to forever eradicate sin-consciousness from humanity's minds and thinking and radically changed the way we think about our Maker, one another and ourselves! [Sin-consciousness is in essence a works-based consciousness.] GOD did not cloth Adam with the skin of a slain animal because of a divine need to be appeased, but because of their unconditional love for Adam; they spoke the language of Adam's own judgmental (guilt, shame) attitude, seen when he acknowledge their nakedness before him: Adam, not GOD, was embarrassed about his nakedness. The clothing was not to make GOD look at Adam differently, but to make Adam see himself differently by feeling better about himself! And ultimately it was to prophetically prepare Adam for the unveiling of the mystery of humanity's redemption in the incarnation. Where Deity would clothe themselves in human skin, in a Son; and the Lion of Judah became the Lamb of GOD in order to free our minds to re-discover his image and likeness in our skin! Look at 1Peter 1:2.) He was always destined in GOD'S prophetic thought; GOD knew even before the beginning of time that the [1]fall of his ordered world order would order his Son, and he would be the Lamb, to be made manifest in these [2]last days, because of us! (We are the reason Jesus died and was raised! The word, [1, G2602, katabolē, to deposit, a conception, from G2598 ] kataballo, means "to fall away, to put in a lower order," instead of (G2310) themelios, meaning " foundation" [see Ephesians 2:20]; thus, translated as, "the fall of the world," instead of "foundation of the world." The entire "Fall" was a falling away in our minds by religions design from our true identity as image and likeness bearers of Elohim. Just like Eve, we were all deceived to believing the lie about ourselves, which is the fruit of the "I-am-not-tree." The hidden meaning of the world "religion" that binds and enslaves. We all, like sheep have gone astray. [Isaiah 53:6] The word, [2, G2078] eschatos, means extreme; last in time or in space; the uttermost part, the final conclusion. What GOD said about 'you-manity' in Jesus defines eschatology!) He is the conclusive cause of our belief in GOD. Seeing then how perfectly we fit into the scheme of things, it is no wonder (miracle) that our faith in GOD'S act of raising Jesus from the dead became the glorious reference to our own new birth! The glory that GOD gave Jesus by raising him from the dead, is the conclusion of everything that our faith longed for, now realized! (This is the redeemed glory that the Prophets pointed to! Hosea 6:2 speaks of in this way, "After two days he will revive us; on the third day he will raise us up!" Isaiah 40:5 speaks in this way, "And the glory of the LORD shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see (know) it together!" ) (The Mirror, with editing.)
