The saga of "The Secret of GOD", as revealed in James 2:1; from a renewed mind and our victory as foretold.

What is the sin of partiality? Lets see shall we. And keep this in mind we are looking at a different writer here than we have grown accustom to in Paul. But both men have within them the same Spirit of our Creator and Father, as did Jesus the son of man in this regard both have the same origin as the other.

James 2:1-7 "My brethren, have not the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ, the LORD of glory, with respect of persons[1]. For if there come unto your assembly a man with a gold ring, in goodly apparel, and there come in also a poor man in vile raiment; And ye have respect to him that weareth the gay clothing, and say unto him, Sit thou here in a good place; and say to the poor, Stand thou there, or sit here under my footstool: Are ye not then partial in yourselves, and are become judges of evil thoughts? Hearken, my beloved brethren, Hath not God chosen the poor of this world rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which he hath promised to them that love him? But ye have despised the poor. Do not rich men oppress you, and draw you before the judgment seats? Do not they blaspheme that worthy name by the which ye are called?" (KJV)

James 2:1-7 "My brothers, show no partiality[1] as you hold the faith in our Lord Jesus Christ, the LORD of glory. For if a man wearing a gold ring and fine clothing comes into your assembly, and a poor man in shabby clothing also comes in, and if you pay attention to the one who wears the fine clothing and say, "You sit here in a good place," while you say to the poor man, "You stand over there," or, "Sit down at my feet," have you not then made distinctions among yourselves and become judges with evil thoughts? Listen, my beloved brothers, has not God chosen those who are poor in the world to be rich in faith and heirs of the kingdom, which he has promised to those who love him? But you have dishonored the poor man. Are not the rich the ones who oppress you, and the ones who drag you into court? Are they not the ones who blaspheme the honorable name by which you were called?" (ESV)

James 2:1-7 "Jesus heads up the kind of faith that does not judge on face value, neither is it influenced by popular opinion of [1]outward appearance. ([1, G4382] Face value, prosopolepsia) Here is a typical example: an influential impressive looking man, dresses in glitter and fine jewelry may visit your assembly; then a shabby unsettled poor looking man may walk in the same gathering; the smart looking chap gets the best seat while the shabby looking guy gets told to stand behind the back row or sit on the floor like a slave at your feet. To discriminate in our heart against anyone conceives a judgment in us that can cause great ill; can you imagine how it hurts to be rejected like that? May I have your full attention on this issue my dear Friends, faith in who you really are according to [1]our original identity is the real measure of our wealth; you might be poor according to the standards of this world but according to GOD you possess your allotted portion which is the kingdom of his promise to those who love him. (The word, [1, G1586 middle voice from G1537 and G3004  ] eklegomai, comes from (G1537) ek, a preposition denoting origin, and (G3004) lego, meaning to speak; thus, the original blueprint-word, (G3056 from G3004) logos, the word clearly spoken by GOD, received by inspiration, be it audible from within.) But we insult the poor, in our effort to impress the rich; meanwhile we fail to realize that the rich have abused their influence against us. They have conned us into their prejudices and discriminatory judgments. They bought our vote with cheap currency. (Any value outside of the price GOD paid in Christ is of inferior value to human life.) Their apparent position of influence is just a disguise they employ to blaspheme the name that defines our true identity." (The Mirror, with editing)

Interesting the things buried within words and their true meanings when examined. May our LORD bless both you and yours as you learn of him and do your own research of word use.
