The saga of "The Secret of GOD", as revealed by 1Peter 2:18; with a renewed mind and our victory as foretold.

We as living stones have Christ as are examples as we learn and walk the pilgrimage of heavenly birth through re-birthing or the awakening and on into eternity with GOD as Christ ones once born of woman. The world has many nationality's and all have this pattern of his life seeded within them but not all will awaken to his calling of them. Or many of the religious world would have us to believe but with GOD this just is not so. Peter being petros and under the inspiration of holiness spreads out the Isaiah passage of 53:4 through 9 in his illustration of our Christ likeness.

1Peter 2:18-25 "Servants, be subject to your masters with all fear; not only to the good and gentle, but also to the froward. For this is thankworthy, if a man for conscience toward God endure grief, suffering wrongfully. For what glory is it, if, when ye be buffeted for your faults, ye shall take it patiently? but if, when ye do well, and suffer for it, ye take it patiently, this is acceptable with God. For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps: (from Isaiah 53:4-9) Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth: Who, when he was reviled, reviled not again; when he suffered, he threatened not; but committed himself to him that judgeth righteously: who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed. For ye were as sheep going astray; but are now returned unto the Shepherd and Bishop of your souls." (KJV)

1Peter 2:18-25 "Servants, be subject to your masters with all respect, not only to the good and gentle but also to the unjust. For this is a gracious thing, when, mindful of God, one endures sorrows while suffering unjustly. For what credit is it if, when you sin and are beaten for it, you endure? But if when you do good and suffer for it you endure, this is a gracious thing in the sight of God. For to this you have been called, because Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example, so that you might follow in his steps. (from Isaiah 53:4-9) He committed no sin, neither was deceit found in his mouth. When he was reviled, he did not revile in return; when he suffered, he did not threaten, but continued entrusting himself to him who judges justly. He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness. By his wounds you have been healed. For you were straying like sheep, but have now returned to the Shepherd and Overseer of your souls." (ESV)

1Peter 2:18-25 "Servants be subject to your master (LORD) in every possible way; not only to those who are nice to you but even to the crooked ones! Seeing together with GOD enables us to suffer wrongfully, gracefully. For someone to get beaten up for his sins and then to bear it patiently is one thing; but suffering such abuse while we are doing well is pure grace before GOD! These are the defining moments for us, since Christ so suffered our judgment in his innocence, thus leaving us a perfect example! In this way, our attitude in bearing insults we do not deserve, reveals the grace of GOD to the ones mistreating us. (from Isaiah 53:4-9) He never said or did anything wrong! Even when they heaped abuse upon him, he never retaliated; he suffered much, but never threatened; instead he fully yielded himself to the righteous judgment of GOD; which is GOD declaring the unjust righteous because of what all Christ has done! In his person he bore our sins in his own body (our very humanity) upon the tree and thus [1]brought closure to every distorted pattern of sin's influence upon us; we were made alive unto righteousness; we were healed by the blows he took in his body (our bodies)! (The word, [1, G581 a compound of G575 and G1096] apogenomenos, is from (G575) apo, meaning away from and (G1096) ginomai, to cause to be, to generate; in giving up his body to (our) death, he removes us from the deadly influence of every distortion that sin could possibly generate in us! Look at 1Peter 1:11 of the Mirror study notes) We were completely vulnerable, just like sheep roaming astray without direction or protection, but Now, we have [1]returned and are restored to the Shepherd and Guardian of our souls! (The word, [1, G1994 from G1909 epi, meaning superimposition to reset, and G4762 strephō, meaning to action of resetting, to reverse a process] epistrepho, means to return to where we've wandered from! Look at 2Corinthians 3:16 and also at 1Peter 1:17 of the Mirror study notes. ) (The Mirror, with editing.)

Now have we picked up on anything? That remains the LORD'S work within us all. Until our next visit when we shall start our look at 2Peter.
