John, greets the churches in Asia, so let us drop in to see what nuggets we may discover.
Revelation 1:4-7 "John to the seven churches which are in Asia: Grace be unto you, and peace, from him which is, and which was, and which is to come; and from the seven Spirits which are before his throne; And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood, and hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; To him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen. Behold, he cometh with clouds; And every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen." (KJV)

Behold, he is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see him, even those who pierced him, and all tribes of the earth will wail on account of him. Even so. Amen." (ESV)
Revelation 1:4-7 "I, John address this writing to the seven [1]churches in Asia: I invite you to tap into the heavenly download of grace and peace from Him who [2]is I am, who always and [3]will continually be the Accompanying One. And from the seven Spirits who are in the Throne room, in constant [5]eye contact with Him. (The word, [1, G1577 a compound of G1537 and G2564] Ekklesia, church, is from (G1537) ek, pointing to origin or source and (G1589) klesia, chosen, election (look at 2Corinthians 6:11-7:3), from (G2564) kaleo, to surname to identify by name. In the context of Matthew 16 where Jesus introduces this word, He reveals that the son of man is indeed the Son of GOD, 'I say to you Simon, son of Jonah, you are petros [Rock] and upon this petra I will build my Ekklesia!' [look at note in Romans 9:33] (The key here is that Jesus says that it was His Father in heaven who revealed this revelation (by way of inspiration) of Christ to Simon in verse 17.) The word, [5, G1799 is a compound of G1722 and G3700] erchomenos, to come or go, to accompany, to appear, here used in the Present Participle which describes an action thought of as simultaneous with the action of the main verb, [2, G5213 from G2564] ho hoon, who is, which is also the Present Active Participle of the verb [3, G1510] eimi, I exist, I am, namely ho aen [nv] who was. The Imperfect is the past tense, yet denoting continuous action. [Look at John 1:1, in the beginning 'was' the Word etc.....] which conveys no idea of origin for GOD or for the Logos, but simply continuous existence, 'I am.' This phraseology is purely Jewish, and probably taken from the Tetragrammaton. The Four Letters referring to the unpronounceable Name of GOD - YHVH - יְהֹוָה - Jaweh "Existing" יְהֹוָה includes in itself all time, past, present, and future. Hidden in this word are three words, יְהֹוָה hajah, was, יְהֹוָה havah, is, and יְהֹוָה jahjah, shall be. These where on Jesus' mind when He said, 'I am the Truth, the Way and the Life.' (John 14:6) But they often use the phrase of which the Greek (G3801), ho hoon, kai ho aen, kai ho erchomenos, of the apostle, is a literal translation.
The entire Revelation is set against the backdrop of the One who is and was and is to come, or, the ever unfolding one. Him who is I am; Who always was and will continually be the accompanying one. It is impossible to interpret this book, without seeing the prophetic significance of the OT and its people.
The word, [5, G1799 a compound of G1722 en, a relationship of rest, and G3700 optanomai optomai, from G991 blepō, to look] enopion suggests eye to eye contact within the closest possible proximity of one another.) May this grace and peace of Jesus Christ overwhelm you! He is the first born from the dead (of deep sleep, much like that of Lazarus in John 11) and embodies the evidence and testimony of everything that GOD believes about us. He heads up the authority in which [1]we reign as kings on this earth. His crown endorses our crown! He always [2]loves us and [3]loosed us once and for all from the dominion of [4]sin in the shedding of His blood! (We are the [1] kings of the earth - look at the next verse! Note the change of tense. Christ [2]loves us always, [Present] and [3]loosed us once for all time [Aorist]. In His blood He brought closure to an incompetent sacrificial system in its attempt to manage humanity's sinfulness and their sin-consciousness. Jesus Christ who is fully GOD and fully man, represents the entire human race; By becoming our distortedness in His death, and raising us together with Him in His resurrection as first born (as from above) from the dead, He re-birthed us and redeemed His image and likeness within us! The word for sin, [4, G266 is from G264 and G1, G3313] hamartia, is from (G1) ha, a negative and (G3313) meros, portion of form, thus to be without our allotted form or portion; pointing to a disorientated, distorted or bankrupt identity; the word (G3313) meros, is the stem of the word (G3444) morphe, as in 2Corinthians 3:18 where the word (G3999) metamorphe, with form, [transform] is the opposite of hamartia - without form. Sin is to live out of context with the blueprint of one's origin; To behave out of tune with GOD'S original harmony.
Colossians 1:18, He is the principle rank of authority who leads the triumphant procession of our new birth out of the region of the dead (spiritual sleep, our being out of tune). He is the first-born from the dead ("....leading the resurrection parade." as seen by the guard in Matthew 27:51-54 and Ephesians 4:8-9. We are crowned with the triumph of Jesus' resurrection. 1Peter 1:3
Psalm 103:1-5, A Psalm of David. Bless Jaweh יְהֹוָה YHVH, Oh my soul; And all that is within me, bless His Holy name! Bless Jaweh יְהֹוָה YHVH, Oh my soul, and forget not all His benefits, who forgives all your iniquities, who heals all ouur diseases, He redeems our life from the Pit and weaves a crown for you out of loving-kindness and tender mercies. He satisfies us with good as long as we live so that our youth is renewed like the eagle's") He fashioned us into a kingdom of priests unto GOD and Father. The glory and the ruling authority of the ages belong to Him for all time and eternity! Amen! (Again the revelation is contained within us its familiar context of Scripture. Look at Exodus 19:6...., and you shall be to me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation. Also at 1Peter 2:9, You are proof of the authentic [eklego] generation; You give testimony to the original idea of the royalty of true priesthood [the order of of Melchizedek] you are a perfect prototype of the mass of the human race. You are the generation of people who exhibit the conclusion [eis] of the prophetic, poetic thought of GOD which has come full circle. Then 1Peter 1:2-3, You publish the excellence of His elevation and display that your authority identity has been rescued out of obscurity and brought into His spectacular light!) Behold He comes with a [1]large dense multitude; An innumerable throng of people, united as one, like the particles of water in a cloud. Every eye will see Him, not merely as observers, but they will perceive Him for who He really is - even those who participated in His murder, will see Him and weep greatly at the thought of their foolish rejection of Him! This will surely be! (The word, nephos is a cloud, a large dense multitude, a throng. 1Thessalonians 4:16-18, The LORD will personally step our of the invisible heavenly realm into our immediate visible horizon with an inciting shout, announcing his triumphant reign in the trumpet-like billowing voice of GOD. Even the dead will rise from their sleep, since they too are included in Christ! In the wake of their arising we will all be gathered into a large dense multitude; An innmerable throng of people, united as one, like the particles of water in a cloud, and we will encounter the LORD in the very air we breathe and so shall we continually celebrate our I-am-ness in our union with Him. (This is the moment redemption declares, where Deity and humanity are married. The Bride and her Groom are united!) The fact that we are all deeply connected in the same source of our 'beingness' causes us to be constantly engaged in this conversation with one another.) (The Mirror, with editing.)
Now do not shrink back form this revelation as so many have already done. It is not as many have taught you because as explained in the introduction they have not agreed with GOD. Now may the LORD increase our understanding of Him.
