Thessalonians part 42

We just looked at Matthew 11 and now I wont to turn our attention to Matthew 26 where Jesus is now before those in unbelief who accuse Him of blastphemy, the like of which we have in ever increasing quanities these days. As did those of later years beginning at the time of Christ and more intensified shortly after Paul and Peter were myrtard for their witness of the Truth that is Christ. Why because the Hebrew leadership knew not the day of His visitation as they were all under a veil of deception and the curse placed on mans flesh which they brought upon themselves.

Beginning at verse 59 through 68: “The chief priests, and elders, and all the council, sought false witnesses against Jesus, to put Him to death; But found none: yes, though many false witnesses came, they found none. At the last came two false witnesses, and said, This fellow said, 'I am able to destroy the temple of God, and to build it in three days.' And the high priest arose, and said to Him, Answered You nothing? what these witness against You? But Jesus held His peace. And the high priest answered and said to Him, I adjure You by the Living God, that You tell us whether You be the Christ, the Son of God. Jesus said to him, It is as you have said: nevertheless I say to you, Hereafter shall you see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven.

Then the high priest rent his clothes, saying, He has spoken blasphemy; what further need have we of witnesses? behold, now you have heard His blasphemy. What think you? They answered and said, He is guilty of death.

Then did they spit in His face, and buffeted Him; and others smote Him with the palms of their hands, saying, Prophesy to us, You Christ, Who is he that smote You?”

Next we have those who with their insanity deny the Gospel of God and Christ, this happens just after He has chosen His disciples and has returned to a house. Lets look at Mark 3:21 to find out what it has to say beginning at verse 20 through 35, breaking it down in this manor 20-27, 28-30, 31-35: “The multitude come together again, so that they could not so much as eat bread. And when His friends heard, they went out to lay hold on Him: for they said, He is beside Himself. And the scribes which came down from Jerusalem said, He has Beelzebub, and by the prince of the devils casts He out devils [they by their ignorance are crediting Satan with the work of GOD through the Holy Spirit within Jesus]. And He called them and said to them in parables, How can Satan cast out Satan? And if a kingdom be divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand. And if a house be divided against itself, that house cannot stand. And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but has an end. No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strong man; and then he will spoil his house.

Verily I say to you, All sins shall be forgiven the sons of men, and blasphemies wherewithsoever they shall blaspheme: But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost has never forgiveness (this is what the Priest's did above when they gave Satan credit for what the Holy Spirit had done through Jesus, as a witness to them that He was indeed the promised Son who would be the Prophet like unto Moses), but is in danger of eternal damnation: Because they said, He has an unclean spirit.

There came then His brethers and His mother, and, they standing without, sent to Him, calling Him. And the multitude sat about Him, and they said to Him, Behold, Your mother and Your brethers who are without seek for You. And He answered, saying, Who is My mother, or My brethren? And He looked round about on them which sat about Him, and said, Behold My mother and My brethren! For whoever shall do the Will of God, the same is My brother, and My sister, and mother.”

Did you catch what is counted as insanity?
