Thessalonians part 51

With what is revealed in Romans 5 we'll continue in Romans 3 in this way, 3:1-8, 9-18, 19-20, beginning at verse 21 through 4:9, Paul speaks of righteous man and faith evidenced in the Old Testament. Picking it up at verse 1 we find the following;

“What advantage then has the Jew? or what profit is there of circumcision? Much every way: chiefly, because that to them were committed the oracles of God. For what if some did not believe? shall their unbelief make the faith of God without effect? God forbid: yes, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That you mightest be justified in your sayings, and might overcome when you are judged. But if our unrighteousness commend the righteousness of God, what shall we say? Is God unrighteous who takes vengeance? (I speak as a man, a lawyer) God forbid: for then how shall God judge the world? For if the Truth of God has more abounded through my lie to His Glory; why yet am I also judged as a sinner? And not (as we be slanderously reported, and as some affirm that we say,) Let us do evil, that good may come? whose damnation is just.

What then? are we better No, in no wise: for we have before proved both Jews and Gentiles, that they are all under sin; As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: There is none that understands, there is none that seeks after God. They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that does good, no, not one. Their throat is an open sepulchre; with their tongues they have used deceit; the poison of asps is under their lips: Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness: Their feet are swift to shed blood: Destruction and misery are their ways: And the way of peace have they not known: There is no fear of God before their eyes.

Now we know that whatever things the Law says, it says to them who are under the Law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God. Therefore by the deeds of the Law there shall no flesh be justified in His sight: for by the Law is the knowledge of sin.”
From here turn with me to 2Corinthians. Before turning there did you catch the statement in the last verse about the Law now being a curse upon those who attempt to keep it, even one statute of it (look at Gal. 3:10 and Ja. 2:10).

As I have already stated the only power in the Law is that of conviction for disobedience. It is weak and beggarly against perdentence of any wrongful action against it. And many have without cause incorpated the Ten Commanments with the Law. Which by the way are not part of the Law of Moses as many have taught and assumed wrongfully. Its only merit is in the fact that it is the code of Conduct, a standard for all of mankind to aspire for.

Let me interject this thought here, no religion of any kind is equally valid as all of mans traditions are many and none no not one of them has ever had a prophet raise from being dead. With one exception, the one in which persoanal relationship is restored, to man as promised in Gen. 3:15. And it being so is NOT a Religion at all. Because with a relationship freedom of or from Religion, is the bases of its operations. In all of mans Religions there is only One true Relationship based Faith. In it Christ is the Head, High Priest, Mediator, LORD and soon coming King. For in His Church is found His blood as the means for an antidote for sin and more. The New Covenant far out reaches the standard of the past because it is based on better promises and an even greater hope. Because within it is the Way, the Truth and the Light of Life Eternal is found and acquired by those who become the willing.
