Thessalonians part 56

Returning to the Prophets to look at what Jeremiah has stated about our being falsely charged in chapter 37 and then to Matthew chapter 5:11. But first Jeremiah 37 beginning at verse 11 through verse 16 where we find this: “It came to pass, that when the army of the Chaldeans was broken up from Jerusalem for fear of Pharaoh's army, then Jeremiah went forth out of Jerusalem to go into the land of Benjamin, to separate himself thence in the midst of the people. And when he was in the gate of Benjamin, a captain of the ward was there, whose name was Irijah, the son of Shelemiah, the son of Hananiah; and he took Jeremiah the prophet, saying, You have fallen away to the Chaldeans. Then Jeremiah said, It is false; I have not fallen away to the Chaldeans. But he hearkened not to him: so Irijah took Jeremiah, and brought him to the princes. Wherefore the princes were wroth with Jeremiah, and smote him, and put him in prison in the house of Jonathan the scribe: for they had made that their prison. When Jeremiah was entered into the dungeon, and into the cabins, and Jeremiah had remained there many days.”

Matthew 5 and Jesus is giving His Beautitude message and is about giving the blessed portion picking up the flow at verses 8 through the end of 12 we find this stated: “Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.

Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.

Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Blessed are you, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for My sake.

Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.”

So when we withstand the pressures from both the outward world and those from within, those being the evil voice of our own flesh. And through His strength we, resist the influence of the evil one through these many means until the end, then we will be counted among the saints of yesteryear. For Christ is the LORD of our salvation, which means that it is HE Who works His works within our soul to save.

Next I'll look at some of those outside pressures designed to cause us to cave-in and some may even be found within our very being as it is hard to discern the difference at times. I'll begin with false confessions and professions because many seem to be; harmless, innocent, divine, sincere, or even of a true prophet. Many of these have been used against the believer to bring about the falling away which took place sometime around the 400-800 AD range, when the Muslam world came about as a replacement theology. The one church that seems to have fostered this change was the Roman Catholic church under its Catholism dogma which blended paganism with a belief in Jesus Christ and the old Jewish standards, which had already suffer perversion. There was one man who also had a hand in this reformation he was Constantine. The then Emperor of the Roman world, when he declared himself Lord of the then Catholic church and professed himself to be a “Christian.” Both he and the Pope of the day conspired to do great harm to the faith by hiding the truth of their evil works which have presisted through to this very day. These have filtered into all forms of man religions and traditions from that time on. People have chosen to fight to the death to maintain these falsestandards of traditions and mans many forms of what is known as Religion. Mans Religions are divided into many denominations and sects, each of which have their own creeds to which the unsuspecting swear their allegiance. All the time thing that they are doing a good thing of righteous actions.
