Thessalonians part 47

We just looked at what are called the flase christ's and false prophets and what their characteristic are but do e understand just how far reaching these peole are in our every day world? And just how far their fingers reach into everything that is or makes up this life all around us? I venture to say that many do not know or acknowledge this, why is this so? Because we have become so over ridden by them and their evil influence in everything that is common to man, we have become desensitized (loosing descernment of) to what is happening. At times I am over whelmed by just how far down the slipperyslope the church has fallen over the past 1986 years. And indeed this world has fallen (under the fear of the depravitiy of man) under the deception. It no longer is what she, the church had started out as, though there are a few who have come out from among them, this covers the world and its religious systems of deception, in accord to the revelation of 2Corinthians 6 and 7 up to verse 4. The Holy Spirit being the fulness of the Godhead reveals these things to those who are in fellowship with the Eternal GOD of all spirits of man, Life, Light and Love by His Faith working within them as at the first (those within the parameters of Salvation's perfection within them). Jesus, the Christ of GOD, restored within man. Bring within us His Truth and Grace and these two working together through Love give to Faith the strength we need to serviv among the unbelieving believers and the infideles (caught in the religions of mans traditions) of this worlds darkness and sins many crimes of hostility against GOD through the operations of Satan within the lost. The peoples of this worlds population do not know the gravity of their actions and worlds being hindered by darknesses deception and influence within their minds thinking and imagination. To see this all we have to do look and listen to the News which focuses on the bad and little on the good. Many will not acknowledge that man is spirit and is therefore governed by Spirit but which Spirit is man being governed by is the real question. For it is either GOD and goodness or Satan and the darkness of evil.

With this comes our next topic Jesus' warning of these things we just saw in Matthew repeated by Mark in chapter 13. One thing that many do not realize is this fact, Jesus was under the obligation to the Law and its oaths, ordinances and appendages which means that He was not at liberity to speak openly of things that were about to take place or those slattered to take place later on. He did however through veiled language as used in the Old Testament speak in symbolism of those things and thereby keeping them secret from the unlearned and unredeemed. This has been the custom of God's doing as revealed in Deuteronomy 29:29 in all of the Old Testament up through the first 8 chapters of Acts. Because chapter 9 of Acts is the break away point of all things being Hebrew only, with the introduction of Gentiles and God's deeper plan in chapter 10. Acts also changed the landscape of things being material, earthy and practical to that of Spirit and mankind becoming spiritually connected to GOD again. This is in agreement and in accord with the LORD'S prayer of John 17 and the secrets of Genesis 1 and 2 and the promise hidden in Genesis 3:15. Now back to where we find His statement beginning at verse 3 through the end of verse 23 in this break down 3-8, 9-13, 14-23: "As Jesus sat upon the mount of Olives over against the temple, Peter and James and John and Andrew asked Him privately, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign when all these things shall be fulfilled? Jesus answering them, Take heed lest any man deceive you: For many shall come in My name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. When you shall hear of wars and rumours of wars, be not troubled: for such things must needs be; but the end shall not be yet. For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be earthquakes in divers places, and there shall be famines and troubles: these are the beginnings of sorrows.

Take heed to yourselves: for they shall deliver you up to councils; and in the synagogues you shall be beaten: and you shall be brought before rulers and kings for My sake, for a testimony against them. And the gospel must first be published among all nations. But when they shall lead (take) you, and deliver you up, take no thought beforehand what you shall speak, neither premeditate: but whatever shall be given you in that hour, that speak: for it is not you that speaks, but the Holy Ghost. Now the brother shall betray the brother to death, and the father the son; and children shall rise up against their parents, and shall cause them to be put to death. And you shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

But when you see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not, (let him that reads understand,) then let them that be in Judaea flee to the mountains: And let him that is on the housetop not go down into the house, neither enter therein, to take any thing out of his house: And let him that is in the field not turn back again for to take up his garment. But woe to them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days! And pray that your flight be not in the winter. For in those days shall be affliction, such as was not from the beginning of the creation which God created to this time, neither shall be. And except that the Lord had shortened those days, no flesh should be saved: but for the elect's sake, whom he having chosen, He has shortened the days. And then if any man shall say to you, Lo, here is Christ; or, lo, He is there; believe not: For false Christs and false prophets shall rise, and shall show signs and wonders, to seduce, if possible, even the elect. But take heed: behold, I have foretold you all things.”

What is the one greatest reason for our missing the mark in our day in time? This may surprise some but it is this, a sense of false confidence. Which can be characterized as, self-righteousness in Romans 2, spiritual blindness in Isaiah 28 and worldly secruities that deceive in Galatians 6. These are attributed to as our causing our trusting in; riches, worldly success, man, and ignoring God's providence. There are warnings against in the following ways, curse against, glory not in man, man's limitations, the mighty will fail, and vain boastings. These conditions can be seen in Babel's men in Genesis 11:4, Sannacherib in 2Kings 19:20-37, Asa in 2Chronacles 16:7-12, Hezekiah in Isaiah 22:11-14 and Peter in Luke 22:23-24.
