Thessalonians part 48

Looking at Self-righteousness in Romans 2:3, before I progress I wont to do some looking into what Romans chapter 1:18 through 3:20 reveal from GOD'S perspective and I'll break this up in this fashion beginning at verse 18 of chapter 1 through 32 where we find Immoral and Amoral man, then beginning at verse 1 of chapter 2 through verse 16 we find moral man as seen from GOD's perspective, at verse 17 of chapter 2 through chapter 3 verse 20 we have religious man. So while I am in chapter 2 I will highlite verse 3 dealing with self-righteousness of fallen man. As with all that GOD does He always provides a way of escape and Romans is no different because after verse 20 of chapter 2. He does explain His concept of righteousness through justification by the sanctification of the circumcision of mans hearts. But before looking at it I should look at what chapter 5:12-21 has to reveal about Adam and man.

Romans 1:18-23, 24-25, 26-27, 28-32 “The wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God has shown it to them. Because the invisible things of Him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, through His Eternal (Authority) Power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse (where is this promised in Jeremiah 31:33-36 and more particularly in verse 34, with Matthew 11:27): Because that, when they knew God, they glorified HIM not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened (this has to do mainly with those prior to the flood and then those after the flood as mankind was in error from Genesis 3 on, having the nature within him of his foster illegitimate father Satan). Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, and changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.

Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: Who changed the Truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.

For this cause God gave them up to vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature (the fallen angels who were under Satans control intered into marriaged with human women and fostered men known as Nephthalim spoken of in Genesis but this has also been called beastiality and lesbianism in both the ancient days and our own time, this was what Moses found when he came down from the mountain top which caused him to destroy the first two clay tablet with the Ten Commnadmnts on them): And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another (in homosexuality or as known today as being gay); men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.

Even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.”
