The LORD our Passover

Continuing with May 2 indexing list.

Mat 22:1-14 (2, 4, 9), 23-28, 29-33 (30) “Jesus answered and spoke to them again by parables, and said, The kingdom of heaven is like unto a certain king, which made a marriage for his son, and sent forth his servants to call them that were bidden to the wedding: and they would not come. Again, he sent forth other servants, saying, Tell them which are bidden, Behold, I have prepared my dinner: my oxen and my fatlings are killed, and all things are ready: come to the marriage. But they made light of it, and went their ways, one to his farm, another to his merchandise: And the remnant took his servants, and entreated them spitefully, and slew them. But when the king heard thereof, he was wroth: and he sent forth his armies, and destroyed those murderers, and burned up their city. (This happened in 66-70 AD just as herein predicted, in accord with Daniel 9.) Then said he to his servants, The wedding is ready, but they which were bidden were not worthy (Israel refused Him, God the king of this parable). Go therefore into the highways, and as many as you shall find, bid to the marriage. (here is the change in the direction of this parable to those of the nations of Genesis 12:3) So those servants went out into the highways, and gathered together all as many as they found, both bad and good: and the wedding was furnished with guests. And when the king came in to see the guests, he saw there a man which had not on a wedding garment (not clothed inside and out with the essence of Christ's own Spirit): And he said to him, Friend, how came you in here not having a wedding garment? And he was speechless. Then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness; there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. For many are called, but few are (have) chosen.

The same day came to Him the Sadducees (this sect did not believe in life after death nor in a resurrection of the dead), which say that there is no resurrection, and asked Him, saying, Master, Moses said, If a man die, having no children, his brother shall marry his wife, and raise up seed to his brother. Now there were with us seven brethren: and the first, when he had married a wife, deceased, and, having no issue, left his wife to his brother: Likewise the second also, and the third, down to the seventh. And last of all the woman died also. Therefore in the resurrection whose wife shall she be of the seven? for they all had her.

Jesus answered and said to them, You do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power (Will) of God. For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven. But as touching the resurrection of the dead, have you not read that which was spoken to you by God, saying, I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob? God is not the God of the dead, but of the Living. And when the multitude heard this, they were astonished at His doctrine.”

Did you catch the change in direction and the hidden meaning of the marriage feast and who it was that were first invited by the king (God the Father) to attend to it?

Now here it found the seed....Genesis 3:15 “I will put enmity between you (Satan) and the woman, and between your seed and her seed (this seed is hidden within mans own soul by a calloused heart of flesh, this also speaks of the promise of mans Redemption in the seed of woman, that being in Jesus); it (He) shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise His heel (we get the word liers or religion from this words meaning, in the restraining or holding back).

Genesis 12:1-3 (3) “Now the LORD had said to Abram, Get out of your country, and from your kindred, and from your father's house, to a land that I will show you: And I will make of you a great nation, and I will bless you, and make your name great; and you shall be a blessing: I will bless them that bless you, and curse him that curses you: and in you shall all families of the earth be blessed.” Does it in Israel only will I bless you? NO, it says, “that in you all the families of the earth will be blessed. So those who acquire the same kind of trust that Abraham exhibited will be blessed as Abraham was blessed as the “in you”.

Now a look at God's timetable of Psalm 2, listen closely to the words here spoken:Psalm 2:1-3, 4-6, 7-9, 10-12 “Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing? The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against His anointed, saying, Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.

He that sits in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision. Then shall He speak to them in His wrath, and vex them in His sore displeasure. Yet have I set My king upon My holy hill of Zion. (Heavenly Jerusalem)

I will declare the decree: the LORD has said to Me, You are My Son; this day have I begotten You. Ask of Me, and I shall give You the heathen for Your inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for Your possession. You shall break them with a rod of iron; You shall dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel. (The author of Hebrews reveals this meaning. Look also at Ps. 89:27.)

Be wise now therefore, O kings: be instructed, you judges of the earth. Serve the LORD with fear, and rejoice with trembling. Kiss the Son, lest He be angry, and you perish from the Way, when His wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in Him.”
