The LORD our Passover

Continuing the indexing list of May 2.
As the promised seed of woman as spoken in Genesis 3:15 and as a Prophet like onto Moses as seen in Deuteronomy 18 and verse 15 but before I go there there is another spiritualism spoken of beginning with verse 9. Which speaks of the falsehood within the worlds churches which I believe we need to look at first.
Deuteronomy 18:9-14, 15-22 “When you are come into the land which the LORD your God gives you, you shall not learn to do after the abominations of those nations. There shall not be found among you any one that makes his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that uses divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch, or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For all that do these things are an abomination to the LORD: and because of these abominations the LORD your God does drive them out from before you. You shall be perfect (whole, complete, upright, without spot or blemish) with the LORD your God. For these nations, which you shall possess, hearkened to observers (in the pre-Noah flood time there were watchers, who were fallen angles who practiced enchantments, soothsaying, and sorceresses) of times, and to diviners (these fallen angles also practiced divination, and soothsaying): but as for you, the LORD your God has not suffered you so to do.”
Though these things are still active in our day they usually are done in secret of darkness or behind closed doors. At least that is what the majority of peoples are lead to believe. They do not believe in them but that does not nullify the fact that todays world religion and the churches of this present darkness are practicing these same forms under the name of Christ.
From here on Moses is speaking by way of revelation, 15-22 (15, 18-19) “The LORD your God will raise up to you a Prophet from the midst of you, of your brethren, like to me; to Him you shall hearken; According to all that you desired of the LORD your God in Horeb in the day of the assembly, saying, Let me not hear again the voice of the LORD my God, neither let me see this great fire any more, that I die not. And the LORD said to me, They have well spoken that which they have spoken. I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like to you, and will put My words in His mouth; and He shall speak to them all that I shall command Him. And it shall come to pass, that whoever will not hearken to My words which He shall speak in My name, I will require it of him. But the prophet, which shall presume to speak a word in My name, which I have not commanded him to speak, or that shall speak in the name of other gods, even that prophet shall die. And if you say in your heart, How shall we know the word which the LORD has not spoken? When a prophet speaks in the name of the LORD, if the thing follow not, nor comes to pass, that is the thing which the LORD has not spoken, that prophet has spoken it presumptuously: you shall not be afraid of him.”
In each case where the title LORD is used it relates to Christ as Father, Master, husband, husbandman and the vine into Whom all are grafted. This being true, did you hear the warning about receiving what this Prophets speaks and if not adhering to His words, it will be required of that person because of unbelief.
Israel, was it betrothed? if so to who or what? Moses in Leviticus tells us that Israel was nothing more than servants of the LORD God as explained in Leviticus 25 verses 42 and 55. Jesus came to bring about a change in status for the peoples of the world, one to release them from the grip of Satan as an evil task master, and then sin which is the force of bondage under which the strong man held and does still hold the world. Though his hold and power to hold has been broken by the stronger strong man. And in the breaking of this hold the world is now betrothed to a bridegroom Who is the LORD GOD. This is but figurative, metaphoric language used as the capt stone for the LORD GOD. One other point must be made and it is this we must learn how to allow scripture to interpret scripture or else we will end up going down a road known as the broad way which takes all those upon it to destruction. This we saw in 2Timothy 2 and the words it contains in verses 14 and 15, as seen on May 1st transcript.
Moving on to the Lord's lesson on the marriage or betrothal feast as found in Matthew 22, which is covered in more accurate detail in the blog link of whmaynard.blogspot.com located in the upper right hand corner of this site. I quoted from John 12:20 which tells us that Jesus knew the hour by the witness of those gentiles who wanted to see and hear Him.
Lastly we have the commentary at the end of this page dealing with the word LORD and its proper meaning and use.
Christ....Ps. 110 “The LORD said to my Lord (Christ), Sit at My right hand, until I make Your enemies Your footstool. The LORD shall send the rod of Your strength out of Zion: to rule in the midst of Your enemies. Your people shall be willing in the day of Your power, in the beauties of holiness from the womb of the morning: You have the dew of Your youth. The LORD has sworn, and will not repent, You are a priest forever after the order of Melchizedek. (quoted by the author of Hebrews in chapters 6:20, 7:1-3, 11, 17) The Lord at your right hand shall strike through kings in the day of His wrath. He shall judge among the heathen, He shall fill the places with the dead bodies; He shall wound the heads over many countries. He shall drink of the brook in the way: therefore shall He lift up the head (impling the head of His enemies).”
