The LORD our Passover

Continuing with the indexing for May 13

From here turn with me to Daniel 7 where Daniel has a dream or vision of the ancient nations or emperors before Roman which Roman devoured as it had ten horns or minor kingdoms that made it up. Picking things up at verses 9 through 14 we find this; “I beheld till the thrones were cast down, and the Ancient of days did sit, whose garment was white as snow, and the hair of His head like the pure wool: His throne was like the fiery flame, His wheels as burning fire. A fiery stream issued and came forth from before Him: thousand thousands ministered to Him, and ten thousand times ten thousand stood before Him: the judgment was set, and the books were opened.

I beheld then because of the voice of the great words which the horn spake: I beheld even till the beast was slain, and his body destroyed, and given to the burning flame. As concerning the rest of the beasts, they had their dominion taken away: yet their lives were prolonged for a season and time.

I saw in the night visions, and, behold, one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought Him near before Him. And there was given Him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve Him: His dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and His kingdom that which shall not be destroyed.”

From here Daniel requests to acquire the understanding of this vision and it is given to him and if you feel the need to acquire its revelation also seek it. As it also relates to the flesh of man.

In John 17:17 we find this statement, “Sanctify them through Your truth: Your word is Truth.” to this I have the following references listed; Psalm 19:7-9, 119:9, 11, 104, Luke 8:11, 15, John 1:1-5; Acts 15:8-9; Psalm 12:6, 19:7, 119:144, 151-152, Ephesians 4:(21) 20-24, 2Timothy 2:25-26.

Looking at Psalm 19:7-9 I will continue through the end of verse 14, where in one of my study Bibles it states this before these passages “God's Law”, we find this; “The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple. The statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes. The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether.

They are more to be desired than gold, yes, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb. Moreover by them is your servant warned: in keeping of them there is great reward. Who can understand his errors? cleanse You me from my secret faults. Keep back Your servant also from presumptuous sins; let them not have dominion over me: then shall I be upright, and I shall be innocent from the great transgression. Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in Your sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer*.”

* “redeemer” means: to restore one to his original position, to avenge his death, as if he had never fallen or been captured and ensnared by death and sin. This passage points out the truth of there being two truths one our redemption wherein this takes place and then a second, our entering God's Salvation where Christ's character is restored within us as in Genesis 2.
