The LORD our Passover

May 14

In this section there are many repeated references of illustration given which have all been capitalized on earlier, so I will not redo what has already been done.

May 15

The Lord Himself tells us that; They hated Me without cause” in John 15:25 and that this is precedes the explanation why in order to be the fulfillment of scripture under the old Testament witness of Him. Then He tells us that, “you also shall bear witness, because you have been with Me from the beginning.” This is the true witness that we have passed from death into Light and Truth In Him and He In us. To this I have the following references listed; Ps. 7:4, 35:19, 69:4, 23-29, 31, Is. 66:3, Ps.109:3, Jn. 2:17 and 19:28.

In Psalm 7 we find this said of the Lord to the LORD beginning in verse 1 through 5; “O LORD My God, in You do I put My trust: save Me from all them that persecute Me, and deliver Me: Lest he tear My soul like a lion, rending it in pieces, while there is none to deliver. O LORD My God, if I have done this; if there be iniquity in My hands; If I have rewarded evil to him that was at peace with Me; (yes, I have delivered him that without cause is My enemy:) Let the enemy persecute My soul, and take it; yes, let him tread down My life upon the earth, and lay My honor in the dust.

Then moving to Psalm 35 again to verse 19 beginning at verse 17 through to the end of verse 21 and then we find this in verses 22 through 26 and 27-28; “Lord, how long will You look on? rescue My soul from their destructions, My darling from the lions. I will give You thanks in the great congregation: I will praise You among much people. Let not them that are My enemies wrongfully rejoice over Me: neither let them wink with the eye that hate Me without a cause. For they speak not peace: but they devise deceitful matters against them that are quiet in the land. Yes, they opened their mouth wide against Me, and said, Aha, aha, our eye have seen it.

This You have seen, O LORD: keep not silence: O Lord, be not far from Me. Stir up Yourself, and awake to My judgment, to My cause, My God and My Lord. (In each of the cases herein listed we can now include ourselves as Sons of God by proxy In Christ) Judge Me, O LORD My God, according to Your righteousness; and let them not rejoice over Me. Let them not say in their hearts, Ah, so would we have it: let them not say, We have swallowed Him up. Let them be ashamed and brought to confusion together that rejoice at My hurt: let them be clothed with shame and dishonor that magnify themselves against Me.

Let them shout for joy, and be glad, that favor My righteous cause: yes, let them say continually, Let the LORD be magnified, which has pleasure in the prosperity of His servant. And my tongue shall speak of Your righteousness and of Your praise all the day long.”

Psalm 69, 109 Isaiah 66, John 2:17 and 19:28 is again repeated to enforce the stressing of their importance. This is also true of these passages which follow this quote; Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged.” taken from John 16:11 where these references are listed Gen. 3:15, Psalm 68:18, 20-23, Isaiah 49:24-26, Luke 10:18, 19-20, Romans 16:22, 2Corinthians 4:1-4, Ephesians 2:1-10 (2), Colossians 2:13-17 (15).
