The LORD our Passover

Continuing with the indexing for May 13

To all that has been thus far revealed John in his numbered letters says this in 1John 1 beginning at verse 1 through 5 and then 6 though 10, also in chapter 3 beginning at verse 11, which if titled may read, “Love in Deed and Truth”, through to the end of verse 24 we find this spoken to all believers who have become receivers of the Truth in Light;

That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of Life; (For Life was manifested, and we have seen it (Him), and bear witness, and show to you that Eternal Life, which was with the Father (from before the ages and time began), and was manifested (made visible, plainly recognized, known and understood by) us;) That which we have seen and heard declare we to you, that you also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with His Son Jesus Christ. And these things write we to you, that your joy may be full. This then is the message which we have heard of Him, and declare to you, that God is Light, and In Him is no darkness at all.

If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the Truth: But if we walk in the Light, as He is in the Light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood (signifying His and our union and conjunction In Him in His flesh and vicarious death, burial, resurrect and ascension) of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin. If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the Truth (the Spirit of all Truth and knowledge in the wisdom of God, in the ontological essence of Christ within us as in the beginning) is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins (weaknesses of the flesh), and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His word (law and Will) is not in us......This is the message that you heard from the beginning, that we should love one another. Not as Cain, who was of that wicked one, and slew his brother. And wherefore slew he him? Because his own works were evil, and his brother's righteous.

Marvel not, if the world hate you. We know that we have passed from death (spiritual separation from the Life of the Living GOD) to Life, because we love the brethren. He that loves not his brother abides (remains separated) in death. Whoever hates his brother is a murderer: and you know that no murderer has Eternal Life abiding in him. Hereby perceive (discern and recognize) we the love of God, because He laid down His life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren (if we do not speak the Truth in Love we do so in fained love and all maliciousness of flesh). But whoever has this world's good, and sees his brother have need, and shuts up his bowels of compassion (charity) from him, how dwells the love of God in him? My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and In Truth. For hereby we know that we are of the Truth, and shall assure our hearts before Him. For if our heart condemn us, God is greater than our heart, and knows all things. Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, then have we confidence toward God. And whatever we ask, we receive of Him, because we keep His commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in His sight.

This is His commandment, That we should believe His Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as He gave us commandment. And he that keeps His commandments dwells In Him, and he In Him. And hereby we know that He abides in us, by the Spirit which He has given us.”
What surprises me the most in John's letter here quoted is the lack of this from the last stanza of the last sentence where he says this, "hereby we know that He abides in us, by the Spirit which He has givens us". I would have thought that the Holy Spirit may have said this, by His Spirit which He has given to us. The Spirit is the breath of Genesis 1 and 2 which was breathed into His man, given a body of clay and water which because of the Light became a living being, similar to all animal life but with this one difference man had the breath of God in his lungs. The mystery of Life was within his soul/bowels and in every baby from that moment on throughout mans existence. Even the animal and mammal kingdoms holds a similar fashion of life within it. Its life springs from the life which the Light brought to the dirt of the earth when God separated the darkness and made day and night from the darkness and chaos which surrounded the earth.
