The LORD our Passover

Continuing with May 17th indexing:

To this I shared from Jeremiah 31 these verses listed not quoted, therefore I will quote them here from verse 27 through 37 which reads; “Behold, the days come, says the LORD, that I will sow the house of Israel and the house of Judah with the seed of man, and with the seed of beast. It shall come to pass, that like as I have watched over them, to pluck up, and to break down, and to throw down, and to destroy, and to afflict; so will I watch over them, to build, and to plant, says the LORD. In those days they shall say no more, The fathers have eaten a sour grape, and the children's teeth are set on edge. But every one shall die for his own iniquity: every man that eats the sour grape, his teeth shall be set on edge.

Behold, the days come, says the LORD, that I will make a New Covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which My Covenant they broke, although I was an husband to them, says the LORD: But this shall be the Covenant that I will make with the house of Isra-el; After those days, says the LORD, I will put My law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be My people. And they shall teach no more every man his neighbor, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them, says the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.

Thus says the LORD, which gives the sun for a light by day, and the ordinances of the moon and of the stars for a light by night, which divides the sea when the waves thereof roar; The LORD of hosts is His name: If those ordinances depart from before Me, says the LORD, then the seed of Isra-el also shall cease from being a nation before Me forever. Thus says the LORD; If heaven above can be measured, and the foundations of the earth searched out beneath, I will also cast off all the seed of Isra-el for all that they have done, says the LORD.”

We must bear in mind the meaning revealed of the word LORD and that of Isra-El now in the New Covenant period of Grace in the Face of God and Christ Jesus which is the Good News which is to bring us through His Salvation to the perfecting of His character now restored within us.

Here is what I said in my comment towards the end of the page, the awaiting of our return to a Genesis 1:26-28 being in the heavenliest kingdom which awaits our return and where we are now seated spiritually at the right hand of power within Christ. As shown in the following passages; Colossians 2:12-13, 3:1, Galatians 2:19-20, Ephesians 1:17-23, 2:4-9.

Beginning at verse 8 of Colossians 2 we find this statement through to the end of verse 19; “Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world (this is as I have been saying is the bases of mans religion), and not after Christ. For In Him dwelled all the fullness of the Godhead bodily (during His bodily appearance, housed in mans flesh, which lasted for a short period of time). And you are complete In Him, which (Who) is the Head of all principality and power: In Whom you are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body (of callous flesh which surrounds natural and redeemed mans hearts as a seeds shell) of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ: Buried with Him in baptism, wherein also you are risen with Him through the faith of the operation of God, Who has raised Him from the dead. And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, has He quickened together with Him, having forgiven you all trespasses; Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to His cross (In His Flesh, which was our flesh and the reason God put on mans flesh to be housed or clothed in Christ Jesus); Having spoiled principalities and powers, He made a show of them openly, triumphing over them in it.

Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holiday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days: Which are a shadow of things to come; but the Body is Christ. Let no man beguile you of your reward in a voluntary humility and worshiping of angels, intruding into those things which he has not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind, and not holding the Head, from which all the Body by joints and bands having nourishment ministered, and knit together, increases with the increase of God.”
