The saga of "The Secret of GOD", part 18.1 the renewed mind and our victory foretold.

Okay, the Lord Jesus was just betrayed and willing gave himself over to his accusers, in his and our own innocence shortly to be restored. Now headed to the Priest of the day to be further slandered by him and those who surround him, then we will see what He told Peter while face to face with him come to pass, and then back to the High Priest.

John 18:12-14 "Then the band and the captain and officers of the Jews took Jesus, and bound him, and led him away to Annas first; for he was father in law to Caiaphas, which was the high priest that same year. Now Caiaphas was he, which gave counsel to the Jews, that it was expedient that one man should die for the people." (KJV)

John 18:12-14 "So the band of soldiers and their captain and the officers of the Jews arrested Jesus and bound him. First they led him to Annas, for he was the father-in-law of Caiaphas, who was high priest that year. It was Caiaphas who had advised the Jews that it would be expedient that one man should die for the people." (ESV)

John 18:12-14 "Then the soldiers under their captain's command together with the Jewish temple police arrested Jesus and tied him up. They first took him to Annas, the father-in-law of Caiaphas who was the High Priest that year. It was Caiaphas who advised the Jews that in order to save the entire nation, it was inevitable that one person should die." (The Mirror)

John 18:15-18 "And Simon Peter followed Jesus, and so did another disciple: that disciple was known unto the high priest, and went in with Jesus into the palace of the high priest. But Peter stood at the door without. Then went out that other disciple, which was known unto the high priest, and spake unto her that kept the door, and brought in Peter. Then saith the damsel that kept the door unto Peter, "Art not thou also one of this man's disciples?" He saith, "I am not." And the servants and officers stood there, who had made a fire of coals; for it was cold: and they warmed themselves: and Peter stood with them, and warmed himself." (KJV)

John 18:15-18 "Simon Peter followed Jesus, and so did another disciple. Since that disciple was known to the high priest, he entered with Jesus into the courtyard of the high priest, but Peter stood outside at the door. So the other disciple, who was known to the high priest, went out and spoke to the servant girl who kept watch at the door, and brought Peter in. The servant girl at the door said to Peter, "You also are not one of this man's disciples, are you?" He said, "I am not." Now the servants and officers had made a charcoal fire, because it was cold, and they were standing and warming themselves. Peter also was with them, standing and warming himself." (ESV)

John 18:15-18 "Peter and another disciple followed Jesus; the High Priest knew the one disciple and he was allowed to enter the courtyard. Peter remained outside at the entrance. Then the other disciple who knew the High Priest went to speak to the lady at the door and asked permission for Peter to join him inside. The lady who guarded the door said to Peter, "Are you not also one of this man's disciples?" He said, "No I am not." (She obviously recognized John as a disciple.) The slaves and temple police were huddled around a coal fire to warm themselves; Peter also joined them to get out of the cold." (The Mirror)

John 18:19-24 "The high priest then asked Jesus of his disciples, and of his doctrine. Jesus answered him, 'I spake openly to the world; I ever taught in the synagogue, and in the temple, whither the Jews always resort; and in secret have I said nothing. Why askest thou me? ask them which heard me, what I have said unto them: behold, they know what I said.' And when he had thus spoken, one of the officers which stood by struck Jesus with the palm of his hand, saying, "Answerest thou the high priest so?" Jesus answered him, 'If I have spoken evil, bear witness of the evil: but if well, why smitest thou me?' Now Annas had sent him bound unto Caiaphas the high priest." (KJV)

John 18:19-24 "The high priest then questioned Jesus about his disciples and his teaching. Jesus answered him, 'I have spoken openly to the world. I have always taught in synagogues and in the temple, where all Jews come together. I have said nothing in secret. Why do you ask me? Ask those who have heard me what I said to them; they know what I said.' When he had said these things, one of the officers standing by struck Jesus with his hand, saying, "Is that how you answer the high priest?" Jesus answered him, 'If what I said is wrong, bear witness about the wrong; but if what I said is right, why do you strike me?' Annas then sent him bound to Caiaphas the high priest." (ESV)

John 18:19-24 "The High Priest then begane to question Jesus about his disciples and his teaching. Jesus replied, 'I have spoken openly to the world and frequently taught in the synagogue and temple to a Jewish audience and have said nothing in secret. Why would you question me? Talk to my audience if you wish to find out about my teaching; they are familiar with what I teach.' When he said this one of the temple police slapped him in the face and scolded, "How dare you speak to the High Priest in this manner?" Jesus answered, 'If I said anything evil then tell me; but if I have spoken only that which is beautiful, why do you strike me?' Annas sent him bound to Caiaphas, the High Priest." (The proper place of this verse is immediately after the 13th.)

The LORD willing we shall pick things back up at verse 25 in our next visit.

The saga of "The Secret of GOD", part 18 the renewed mind and our victory foretold.

So now we enter chapter 18 of John's synoptic gospel where the plan of mans redemption as being fore told by his savior, is about to come to pass as He is the savior of the world as we have heard and seen so far. Keep in mind that this is all one action of time from chapter 13 on. To see this clearly look with me at: John 14:20 "'In that day you will know that I am in my Father, and you in me, and I in you.'" Here both grace and glory are combined in the workings of GOD, this being concealed from near and short sighted men of religions theologies. For when the Lord Jesus from the cross of His execution said "'It is Finished'" all things had been judged that were planed by GOD to be judged there. And because of that GOD changed the epoch of time, for memorial of His Creation, His human form. This is the action recorded by John in Revelation, a pictorial picture story of the works and actions of Christ. His stage is now set and all is in motion, the Father is guiding its outcome to the smallest of details, Jesus' betrayal. Here GOD bring both mans religion and politics into play, to be set up for judgment. This he has already done as revealed in the language of the OT prophets.

John 18:1-11 "When Jesus had spoken these words (as recorded from chapter 13 through now in 18), he went forth with his disciples over the brook Cedron, where was a garden, into the which he entered, and his disciples. And Judas also, which betrayed him, knew the place: for Jesus ofttimes resorted thither with his disciples. Judas then, having received a band of men and officers from the chief priests and Pharisees, cometh thither with lanterns and torches and weapons. Jesus therefore, knowing all things that should come upon him, went forth, and said unto them, 'Whom seek ye?' They answered him, "Jesus of Nazareth." Jesus saith unto them, 'I am he.' And Judas also, which betrayed him, stood with them. As soon then as he had said unto them, "I am he," they went backward, and fell to the ground. Then asked he them again, 'Whom seek ye?' And they said, "Jesus of Nazareth." Jesus answered, 'I have told you that I am he: if therefore ye seek me, let these go their way: That the saying might be fulfilled, which he spake, Of them which thou gavest me have I lost none.' (by Him in John 17:12) Then Simon Peter having a sword drew it, and smote the high priest's servant, and cut off his right ear. The servant's name was Malchus. Then said Jesus unto Peter, 'Put up thy sword into the sheath: the cup which my Father hath given me, shall I not drink it?'" (KJV)

John 18:1-11 "When Jesus had spoken these words (as recorded from chapter 13 through now in 18), he went out with his disciples across the brook Kidron, where there was a garden, which he and his disciples entered. Now Judas, who betrayed him, also knew the place, for Jesus often met there with his disciples. So Judas, having procured a band of soldiers and some officers from the chief priests and the Pharisees, went there with lanterns and torches and weapons. Then Jesus, knowing all that would happen to him, came forward and said to them, 'Whom do you seek?' They answered him, "Jesus of Nazareth." Jesus said to them, 'I am he.' Judas, who betrayed him, was standing with them. When Jesus said to them, "I am he," they drew back and fell to the ground. So he asked them again, 'Whom do you seek?' And they said, "Jesus of Nazareth." Jesus answered, 'I told you that I am he. So, if you seek me, let these men go.' This was to fulfill the word that he had spoken (in John 17:12): "Of those whom you gave me I have lost not one." Then Simon Peter, having a sword, drew it and struck the high priest's servant and cut off his right ear. (The servant's name was Malchus.) So Jesus said to Peter, 'Put your sword into its sheath; shall I not drink the cup that the Father has given me?'" (ESV)

John 18:1-11 "When Jesus concluded his prayer (this author limits the time frame of the Lord's speaking here, which the other translations did not) he and his disciples crossed over the brook Cedron into a garden. Judas, who betrayed his was familiar with this place since Jesus often gathered there with his disciples. Judas was given a Roman military cohort of about 600 soldiers to accompany him; they came together with the temple officers from the chief priests and many Pharisees with torches, lanterns and their weapons drawn. Jesus, fully aware of everything that was coming upon him, went forward to meet with them and said, 'Who are you seeking?' They said to him, "Jesus the Nazarene." Jesus answered, 'Here I am.' And there Judas was, standing with them. Just when said, 'I am,' they fell backwards and fell to the ground! He asked them again, 'Who are you looking for?' They said, "Jesus of Nazareth," Jesus said, 'I already told you who I am; if its me you are after then let the others go.' He said this to confirm to his disciples that he would protect them so that none of them would be implicated. Simon Peter thought that it was a good idea to defend themselves and drew his sword and struck at the high priest's servant, Malchus' head, who ducked away and only lost an ear. Jesus told Peter to put away the sword and said, 'Do you think that I am not going to drink this cup the Father have me?' (The Mirror)

Next time the LORD willing we look at Jesus before the priests. Notice how GOD gets everyone in the action of establishing the worlds coming judgment.

The saga of "The Secret of GOD", part 17.2 the renewed mind and our victory foretold.

Picking up the flow again in John 17 with verse 19 and the request of our being sanctified as the Lord Jesus was sanctified in our behalf, as co-sanctification takes place [soon], no within this very prayer. We are at the close of the Lord's discourse and prayer of humanity's complete unity with his creator resorted again. Oh! The magnificence to this moment when GOD stopped time if even for a moment to raise humanity from the dust of disparagement, of lost union. The secret held within GOD now released for His Glory of Being. Jesus with the disciples will soon go into the garden of His willing capture, His mission about to be completed and sealed by GOD's Blood of guaranty.

John 17:19, 20-24 (Jesus is speaking) "'And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth.
Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word; That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me. And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one: I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me. Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world.'" (KJV)

John 17:19, 20-24 (Jesus is speaking) "'And for their sake I consecrate myself, that they also may be sanctified in truth.
I do not ask for these only, but also for those who will believe in me through their word, that they may all be one, just as you, Father, are in me, and I in you, that they also may be in us, so that the world may believe that you have sent me. The glory that you have given me I have given to them, that they may be one even as we are one, I in them and you in me, that they may become perfectly one, so that the world may know that you sent me and loved them even as you loved me. Father, I desire that they also, whom you have given me, may be with me where I am, to see my glory that you have given me because you loved me before the foundation of the world.'" (ESV)

John 17:19, 20-24 (Jesus is speaking) "'For their sakes do I sanctify myself to be high above the cosmos - system so that their true set apart - ness [from the performance based systems of the world] will be mirrored in me. I do not pray for them exclusively but also for those who would come to believe in me because of their words. [a prayer for all who would come out from among them, the world-systems of corruption] That they all may be one, exactly as you Father are mirrored in me and I in you, that they also will be exactly mirrored to be one in us - then the entire world will believe and be persuaded about your mission upon my life! And I, [the Incarnate word] have endued them with the same glorious esteem that you have given me so that their oneness may mirror ours. I am in them as you are in me, and on this basis their seamless oneness may be entirely concluded. Thus the world will acknowledge your commission upon my life and know that my love for them mirrors your love for me. Father I desire that [1] what you have given me in them may cause them to be where I am so that they may see what I see and gaze attentively upon the splendor of my glory which you have given me [in them] because you loved me before the [2] fall of the world. Thus the world will be persuaded that your love for them was never compromised because of the fall - you continued to love them the same! (The best text read, [1] ho not hous - that which. The word, [2] kataballo, means "to fall away, to put in a lower place," instead of themelios, meaning "foundation" [look at Ephesians 2:20]; thus, translated "the fall of the world," instead of "the foundation of the world." The entire "Fall" was a falling away in ou minds from our true identity as image and likeness bearers of Elohim. Just like Eve, were we all deceived to believe a lie about ourselves, which is the fruit of the "I-am-not-tree." We all, like sheep have gone astray "the fall of the world," instead of "the foundation of the world." The entire "Fall" was a falling away in . [Isaiah 53:6] ) (The Mirror)

John 17:25-26 (Jesus is speaking) "'O righteous Father, the world hath not known thee: but I have known thee, and these have known that thou hast sent me. And I have declared unto them thy name, and will declare it: that the love wherewith thou hast loved me may be in them, and I in them.'" (KJV)

John 17:25-26 (Jesus is speaking) "'O righteous Father, even though the world does not know you, I know you, and these know that you have sent me. I made known to them your name, and I will continue to make it known, that the love with which you have loved me may be in them, and I in them.'" (ESV)

John 17:25-26 (Jesus is speaking "'Father of righteousness, while the world has not known you, I have known you and these here have come to know that you sent me. And i have made the essence of your being known to them so that they may know you by name; and I will also give them understanding to know that the same love wherewith you have loved me is in them even as I am in them!'" (The Mirror)

So ends the Lord's Prayer of our declared sanctification. Chapter 18 deals with the Lord Jesus' betrayal, illegal Inquisition by the hypocrisy of religion's upper hand and then the gentiles in the person of a Roman ruler. And so began the judgment of this worlds order of false ungodly systems, as these judged themselves by falsely accusing the man of innocence.

The saga of "The Secret of GOD", part 17.1 the renewed mind and our victory foretold.

We are currently looking at John 17 and the revelation of humanity's with standing the judgment of the flesh that covered the GOD-Head (OT Name of Genesis 1:1 is Elohim) as the Son Jesus. GOD as Jesus redeems His Love Creation of humanity reinstating humanity's innocence to that of Genesis 1:26-27 and 2 after verse 3 worship and mans creation, a body made for them (in him) in verse 7. Follow along as we study the Lord's Prayer of Spiritual Prophesy that is soon to become mans victory over a deceptive ruler, of "I-am-nots" (of Genesis 3) in his corrupted flesh!

John 17:6-19 (Jesus is speaking) "'I have manifested thy name unto the men which thou gavest me out of the world: thine they were, and thou gavest them me; and they have kept thy word. Now they have known that all things whatsoever thou hast given me are of thee. For I have given unto them the words which thou gavest me; and they have received them, and have known surely that I came out from thee, and they have believed that thou didst send me. I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given me; for they are thine. And all mine are thine, and thine are mine; and I am glorified in them. And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are. While I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name: those that thou gavest me I have kept, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition; that the scripture might be fulfilled. And now come I to thee; and these things I speak in the world, that they might have my joy fulfilled in themselves. I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil. They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth. As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world. And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth.'" (KJV)

John 17:6-19 (Jesus is speaking) "'I have manifested your name to the people whom you gave me out of the world. Yours they were, and you gave them to me, and they have kept your word. Now they know that everything that you have given me is from you. For I have given them the words that you gave me, and they have received them and have come to know in truth that I came from you; and they have believed that you sent me. I am praying for them. I am not praying for the world but for those whom you have given me, for they are yours. All mine are yours, and yours are mine, and I am glorified in them. And I am no longer in the world, but they are in the world, and I am coming to you. Holy Father, keep them in your name (Saint), which you have given me, that they may be one, even as we are one. While I was with them, I kept them in your name, which you have given me. I have guarded them, and not one of them has been lost except the son of destruction, that the Scripture might be fulfilled. But now I am coming to you, and these things I speak in the world, that they may have my joy fulfilled in themselves. I have given them your word, and the world has hated them because they are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. I do not ask that you take them out of the world, but that you keep them from the evil one. They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. Sanctify them in the truth; your word is truth. As you sent me into the world, so I have sent them into the world. And for their sake I consecrate myself, that they also may be sanctified in truth.'" (ESV)

John 17:6-19 (Jesus is speaking) "'I have displayed your name and exactly who you are with distinction to those whom you have given me; they are also those who have treasured your word [incarnated in me]. Now they too have come to know that everything you have given me originated in their own I-Am-ness in you! (Man began in GOD! seen in Genesis 1:26-27, 2:7) I have given them the very [1] words which you have given me in our conversations, which words they have embraced and have come to know that surely I also proceeded from you and are commissioned by you! (Deuteronomy 18:18-19 of 15-22) (Here the word rhemata [plural] is used and not logos like in verse 14 and most other references in John - rhema refers to the spoken word in conversation as such.) I pray specifically for them - those who know that they are yours to begin with and that you gave them to me. I'm not here to debate with those who still see themselves defined by the world-systems! I am greatly esteemed in our shared friendship with every individual person - all those who are mine are also yours and what is yours is mine. I am no longer in the world but they are - I am proceeding to be face to face with you Holy Father; I ask for the protection of those whom you have given me in your name (Saint) that they also may be one even as we are one. While I was with them in the world I guarded over the ones you have given me in your name and did not lose any, except the lost son who fulfilled what was written prophetically. And now I come to be face to face with you Father; I speak these things while I am still in the world that they may have my joy fulfilled in themselves. I have given them your Logos and now the world hates them because they have lost their manipulative, performance - based hold over them - these now know that they did not originate in the [1] cosmos but in the Logos, even as I did not begin in the cosmos! (The word [1] kosmos here refers to the natural order of things as evident in human traditions and philosophy.) I do not request that you take them out of the world but that you keep them from the [1] evil performance - based system of hardships, labors and annoyances! (the [1] poneros - system is the system that is refernced in the Tree of the knowledge of good and evil (poneros) which is a system based on performance as the defining reference to human life - Jesus came to reveal and redeem our authentic value, identity and innocence as defining our lives.) They are not defined by the cosmos - system even as I am not so defined thereby. [1] Define them in your truth - your logos is the unveiled truth. (The word [1] hagiazo speaks of a sanctification, a setting apart as in a defining moment, required for all Saints. GOD has only one way for us all.) Just as you have commissioned me into the world so I send them on their mission into the world! For their sakes do I sanctify myself to be high above the cosmos - system so that their true set apart - ness [from the performance based systems of the world] will be mirrored in me (in them).'" (The Mirror)

The LORD willing we will look at our being sanctified by Christ as He was sanctified to reside in His glory as our own.

The saga of "The Secret of GOD", part 17 the renewed mind and our victory foretold.

Jesus by His Words of revelation's revealing tells of our innocence restored in chapter 17 of John's synoptic gospel in language withheld by the worlds systems of religion, politics and finance and the churches within that same system. But once we've received and become like Abraham the man of GOD's kind, kind of faith as was the man Jesus we begin to see ourselves as we aught to with a clear perception of thought renewed and restored to us. It only requires of us a baby kind of faith and before long it springs up to become a mighty tree of faith. The worldly spirit, the one under delusion, would project all as being some future event far off on the horizon of mankind's being and that we cannot understand the language of the ages. But when light (Holy Spirit, the Godhead) does spring to life within us, this all changes dramatically within us. Just as we will see in the Prayer of John 17 requests. From this chapter we can acquire the image and likeness restored to our humanity and then mirrored through our being by our receptivity of faith, the word received as promised eons ago. (Colossians 1:21; Matthew 13:44, Galatians 1:15-16, 2Corinthians 3:18, 4:4, 7; Haggai 2:6-7)

John 17:1-5 "These words spake Jesus (John beginning at 12:23 on through 17), and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, "'Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify thee: As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him. And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent. I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do. And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.'" (KJV)

John 17:1-5 "When Jesus had spoken these words (with John 12:23 through 17), he lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, "'Father, the hour has come; glorify your Son that the Son may glorify you, since you have given him authority over all flesh, to give eternal life to all whom you have given him. And this is eternal life, that they know you the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent. I glorified you on earth, having accomplished the work that you gave me to do. And now, Father, glorify me in your own presence with the glory that I had with you before the world existed.'" (ESV)

John 17:1-5 "Having said these things Jesus lifted up his eyes to the [1]heavenly sphere and spoke, "'Father, the hour has come; this is the culmination of time! Glorify your Son; endorse your opinion of your Son so that the Son may mirror his opinion of you and cause your dignity and worth to be made renowned and rendered illustrious in order to become manifest and acknowledged throughout! (The word [1] ouranos, rendered heavenly sphere; is from oros, mountain, and this is from airo, to raise, elevate, to lift up. Here there exists no conflict of interest - only glory repeated in the other! And the glory of the LORD shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together! Said Isaiah in 40:5)
Within the [1] mirror reflection of glory you co-[2]echo [3] every nook and cranny of flesh on exhibit in the Son's [4] authentic 'I-am-ness'! In order that every detail aspect of what it takes to live in the flesh may be [5] endued with the life of the ages. (The word, [1] kathos, is from kata, downward impression and hos, as like, even as, the same; kathos follows on the previous thought of the co-exhibition of glory; the original image and likeness in the glory of the Father is again repeated and impressed in our (humanity's) sonship. The word [2] echo, to have in hand, to echo, resonate; the word [3] pas, suggests each and every detail of all things; the whole, everyone, all things, everything. The word [4] exousia, is often translated authority, is from ek, out of, source, and eimi, I am. The word [5] didomi, to give, to endue, to return something to someone that already belongs to them. look again at John 1:14 ) This life of the ages, invited them to engage in the [1] inexhaustible adventure of knowing you, the only true GOD and Jesus as the Christ whom you have commissioned! (The word, [1] ginoskosin, to learn, to perceive, to understand; in the Present Active form with hina [subject clause], "should keep on knowing." ) I have caused your dignity and worth to be made renowned and rendered illustrious in order to become manifest and acknowledged throughout the earth by accomplishing the work which you have given me to do. And now, Father, bestow the most intimate closeness of your own person upon me with the glory that i shared in your immediate presence even before the world was.'" (The Mirror)

The LORD willing we shall carry on next time from verse 6.

The saga of "The Secret of GOD", part 16.4 the renewed mind.

We are now going to hear probably the greatest statement of Faith in GOD, spoken by a man of flesh and blood, even though His blood is the very Blood of GOD on earth. This statement is our Victory statement though yet unknown to even His disciples to the fullest. Jesus declares His faith in the promise written of Him long ago by the prophet Hosea in chapter 6 verse 2 and 3 which states this: "After two days will he revive us: in the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight.  Then shall we know, if we follow on to know the LORD: his going forth is prepared as the morning; and he shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter and former rain unto the earth." And then this spoken by King David in Psalm 61 verse 7: "He shall abide before God for ever: O prepare mercy and truth, which may preserve him. So will I sing praise unto thy name for ever, that I may daily perform my vows." Now both of these are in the KJV, but here goes the ESV; first Hosea 6: "After two days he will revive us; on the third day he will raise us up, that we may live before him. Let us know; let us press on to know the LORD; his going out is sure as the dawn; he will come to us as the showers, as the spring rains that water the earth." and Psalm 61: "May he be enthroned forever before God; appoint steadfast love and faithfulness to watch over him! So will I ever sing praises to your name, as I perform my vows day after day." Now for John 16 beginning with verse 28 to set the stage for what is to follow, before chapter 17 great prayer for all of humanity's victory in and of Christ's being restored to humanity.

John 16:28, 29-33 "'I came forth from the Father, and am come into the world: again, I leave the world, and go to the Father.'
His disciples said unto him, "Lo, now speakest thou plainly, and speakest no proverb. Now are we sure that thou knowest all things, and needest not that any man should ask thee: by this we believe that thou camest forth from God." Jesus answered them, 'Do ye now believe? Behold, the hour cometh, yea, is now come, that ye shall be scattered, every man to his own, and shall leave me alone: and yet I am not alone, because the Father is with me. These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.'" (KJV)

John 16:28, 29-33 "'I came from the Father and have come into the world, and now I am leaving the world and going to the Father.'
His disciples said, "Ah, now you are speaking plainly and not using figurative speech! Now we know that you know all things and do not need anyone to question you; this is why we believe that you came from God." Jesus answered them, 'Do you now believe? Behold, the hour is coming, indeed it has come, when you will be scattered, each to his own home, and will leave me alone. Yet I am not alone, for the Father is with me. I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.'" (ESV)

John 16:28, 29-33 "'I have indeed proceeded from the immediate and intimate presence of the Father to come to the world and return again to be face to face with the Father.'
The disciples said to him, "You are coming through loud and clear without the aid of a parable. Now we see what you have seen all along! To be persuaded that you indeed proceeded from the Father brings an end to all our speculations and uncertainties!" To this Jesus responded with, 'Just when you think you now finally believe that I am who I claim to be, then suddenly you will all scramble and run for your lives and abandon me! But I am never forsaken because my Father is always with me! I have spoken these things to you that in me you will know the sweet and assured resonance of my peace! In the world you encounter extreme and stressful times, but be of good courage, [1]I have conquered the world-order!'" (Revelation 3:21 And everyone's personal triumph will be celebrated together with me, by being jointly seated together in  my Kingship! On exactly the same basis of [1]my Victory celebration and my joint seatedness with my Father in His Throne! [1] hos kago enikesa is in the first Aorist active indicative of nikao, to conquer; looking back on the victory as over in the past. In John 16:33 before the Cross Jesus says, 'ego nenikeka ton kosmon,' which is in the perfect active tense, emphasizing the abiding effect of the victory! Looking at Hebrews 1:3 Having made purification for sins, he sat down! His Throne celebrates mankind's redeemed innocence! ) (The Mirror)

Next is the true Lord's Prayer spoken for humanity's conjoining to the LORD and Father of our Creation. In my own study's this prayer is often over looked or just plan left out of the outlines. So our next topic, the LORD willing, is chapter 17 of John's synoptic gospel. Or maybe it will be the study on mans flesh Judgment as it has already taken place on the tree / Cross, where the curse of Genesis 3 was hung.

The saga of "The Secret of GOD", part 16.3 the renewed mind.

Continuing with verse 25 of john 16 and the Lord Jesus' discourse on life after judgment.

John 16:25-28 (Jesus is speaking) "'These things have I spoken unto you in proverbs: but the time cometh, when I shall no more speak unto you in proverbs, but I shall shew you plainly of the Father. At that day ye shall ask in my name: and I say not unto you, that I will pray the Father for you: For the Father himself loveth you, because ye have loved me, and have believed that I came out from God. I came forth from the Father, and am come into the world: again, I leave the world, and go to the Father.'" (KJV)

John 16:25-28 (Jesus is speaking) "'I have said these things to you in figures of speech. The hour is coming when I will no longer speak to you in figures of speech but will tell you plainly about the Father. In that day you will ask in my name, and I do not say to you that I will ask the Father on your behalf; for the Father himself loves you, because you have loved me and have believed that I came from God. I came from the Father and have come into the world, and now I am leaving the world and going to the Father.'" (ESV)

John 16:25-28 (Jesus is speaking) "'I have used [1] examples to illustrate these things in figurative speech but the hour comes when the illustrations will be replaced with [2] unreserved utterance and I will [3] declare to you openly, heavenly things about the Father. ([1] Paroimiais, is from para and oiomai, to make like ("The kingdom of heaven is like a treasure hidden in an agricultural field...), that is, in imagery: - suppose, think; parable or illustration. The word [2] parrhesia, openly, frankly, without concealment. The word [3] anangello, is from ana, upwards and angello to announce or declare. The preposition ana, always points upwards to the things that are above the earth's perspective.) In that day you will make your [1] requests in my name without a middleman - there will be no need for me to [2] question the Father on your behalf. (Again, as in verse 23, the words [1] aiteo, to make a request and [2] erotao, to question are used.)  The Father himself is so fond of you and is pleased with your affection for me and your belief that I proceeded from his [1] immediate presence.'" (The preposition [1] para, indicates close proximity, a thing proceeding from a sphere of influence, with a suggestion of union of place of residence, to have sprung from its author and giver, originating from, denoting the point from which an action originates, intimacy within the Trinity.)

John 16:29-33 "His disciples said unto him, "Lo, now speakest thou plainly, and speakest no proverb.

John 16:29-33 "His disciples said, "Ah, now you are speaking plainly and not using figurative speech!

John 16:29-33 "The disciples said to him, "You are coming through loud and clear without the aid of a parable. In the world you will encounter extreme and stressful times, but be of good courage, [1] I have conquered the world - order!'" (Revelation 3:21 And everyone's personal triumph will be celebrated together with me, by being jointly seated in my Kingship! On exactly the same basis of [1] my victory celebration and my joint seatedness with my father in in his Throne! [1] hos kago enikesa is the first Aorist active indicative voice of nikao, to conquer; looking back on the victory as over in the past. In John 16:33 before the Cross Jesus says, ego nenikeka ton kosmon which is in the perfect active tense, emphasizing the abiding effect of the victory! Look at Hebrews 1:3 Having made purification for sins, he sat down! His Throne celebrates mankind's redeemed innocence!)

Now where and what comes next? Maybe it is the understanding of the Judgment action of humanity's flesh man, that took place in the flesh covering of deity. We shall see, the LORD willing.

The saga of "The Secret of GOD", part 16.2 the renewed mind.

Picking up with verse 16 of John's synoptic gospel chapter 16. Where Jesus is still speaking in humanity's redemption language, as it looms of the horizon for His doing in the scheduled completing of His divine heavenly mission on mans, NO! The world of humanity's behalf! We must keep the two actions of Judgment in their proper places. The first is for humanity's redeeming as the gift freely bestowed to the world of humanity, in the judgment of this worlds evil orders of systems, political and religion, the second is for of those who by choice remain under these evil systems in unbelief of the finished works of Christ while suspended of the Cross and then His resurrection and ascension as the proof of GOD's promises fulfilled. The second judgment is yet on our horizon in which both the living wicked and the wicked dead will be judged for their denial of the finished death by blood letting and ascension of Christ, Spirit of truth and His disciples. These thing we are currently researching for another posting.

John 16:16-24 (Jesus is speaking) "'A little while, and ye shall not see me: and again, a little while, and ye shall see me, because I go to the Father.' Then said some of his disciples among themselves, "What is this that he saith unto us, 'A little while, and ye shall not see me: and again, a little while, and ye shall see me: and, Because I go to the Father?'" They said therefore, "What is this that he saith, 'A little while?' we cannot tell what he saith." Now Jesus knew that they were desirous to ask him, and said unto them, 'Do ye enquire among yourselves of that I said, A little while, and ye shall not see me: and again, a little while, and ye shall see me? Verily, verily, I say unto you, That ye shall weep and lament, but the world shall rejoice: and ye shall be sorrowful, but your sorrow shall be turned into joy. A woman when she is in travail hath sorrow, because her hour is come: but as soon as she is delivered of the child, she remembereth no more the anguish, for joy that a man is born into the world. And ye now therefore have sorrow: but I will see you again, and your heart shall rejoice, and your joy no man taketh from you. And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you. Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full.'" (KJV)

John 16:16-24 (Jesus is speaking) "'A little while, and you will see me no longer; and again a little while, and you will see me.' So some of his disciples said to one another, "What is this that he says to us, 'A little while, and you will not see me, and again a little while, and you will see me;' and, 'because I am going to the Father?'" So they were saying, "What does he mean by 'a little while'? We do not know what he is talking about." Jesus knowing that they wanted to ask him, so he said to them, 'Is this what you are asking yourselves, what I meant by saying, 'A little while and you will not see me, and again a little while and you will see me?' Truly, truly, I say to you, you will weep and lament, but the world will rejoice. You will be sorrowful, but your sorrow will turn into joy. When a woman is giving birth, she has sorrow because her hour has come, but when she has delivered the baby, she no longer remembers the anguish, for joy that a human being has been born into the world. So also you have sorrow now, but I will see you again, and your hearts will rejoice, and no one will take your joy from you. In that day you will ask nothing of me. Truly, truly, I say to you, whatever you ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you. Until now you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full.'" (ESV)

John 16:16-24 (Jesus is speaking) "'For a brief while I will be absent from your [1] view; then in another brief while you [2] will see and know me. ([1] Ye shall not see - ou [negative] theorete - the present tense: "you behold me no more." - [ theoreo - English, theorize ] "Then again you will [2] see me," opsesthe, Future, middle Deponent Indicative voice of the verb horao. A different verb for seeing is used here. [1] Theoreo, emphasizes the act of vision, not yet known, [2] horao, the result of the act. Theoreo is a derivative of theaomai, and denotes a deliberate contemplation conjoined with mental or spiritual interests. "The vision of wondering contemplation, in which they observed little by little the outward manifestation of the LORD, was changed and transformed, transfigured into sight, horao, in which they seized at once, intuitively, all that Christ was and is. As long as his earthy presence was the object on which their eyes were fixed, their view was necessarily imperfect. His glorified presence showed him in his true nature."
Paul beautifully prays that the eyes of our understanding be flooded with light so that we may know the full conclusion of his death and resurrection and how fully included we are in it.
The best texts omit, "Because I go to the Father." Although it is present in the next verse.) Some of his disciples said to each other, "What does he mean? When he tells us that in a little while we won't see him. Then he tells us that in a little while we will see him again and then he would return to be face to face with the Father?" What does he mean by a little while? This just doesn't make sense to us at all. Jesus perceived that they were confused about this and asked them, 'Are you still trying to figure out what I mean by this brief time where you will no longer see me and then the next moment you will really see me?' During the brief time of my apparent absence you will mourn and grieve but while the religious world rejoices, your pain will give birth to joy! The anguish a woman suffers when her hour has come to give birth, is soon forgotten and replaced with delight when another [1] human life is born! (The word human species, male or female is [1] anthropos, and is from ana, upwards, and tropos, manner of life; character; in like manner.) Just like with childbirth where joy eclipses the labor pains, so your present sorrow will be vanquished and your hearts will erupt in joy when you realize how you captivate my [1] gaze! And no one will be able to take this joy away from you! (Again the word [1] (this word i could not find), is used, from horaoo, to look at something with wide open eyes as in to gaze at something remarkable! in the mirror reflection of his gaze, we see ourselves and now we know even as we have always been known! ) In that day of your awakening to our inseparable union, you shall ask me no more [1] questions; instead you should certainly [2] ask the Father directly in my name, knowing that my name represents the extent of all the father has already accomplished on humanity's behalf and he will happily grant you your requests and take all questions of possible doubt or uncertainty out of the question. (To quest is the primary meaning of the verb [1] erotao. Another verb for ask occurs in the following sentence, [2] aiteo, to make a request.) Until now you have not required anything in my name - when you realize what is yours in my name, then make your requests and lay a hold of that so that your joy may burst its banks!'" (The Mirror)

Next time, the LORD willing, we will resume with verse 25.

The saga of "The Secret of GOD", part 16.1 the renewed mind.

Maybe what I am about to disclose should not be here in our study of chapter 16 of John's synoptic gospel, but here goes. GOD the Father and His Son of His expression of His Great Love for His image and likeness in His divine creation is Judge some Holy and sure as He judges even the universe of His Creation. Now with that said we shall move on to verse 12 where we left off in our last post. I just got it,Wow! Thank You LORD! The reason for my outburst, Jesus is speaking of the way of life for all who would be restored to their true first original identity by His actions, this He has been doing for sometime now.

John 16:12-15 (Jesus is speaking) "'I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now. Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you. All things that the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall shew it unto you.'" (KJV)

John 16:12-15 "'I still have many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now. When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all the truth, for he will not speak on his own authority, but whatever he hears he will speak, and he will declare to you the things that are to come. He will glorify me, for he will take what is mine and declare it to you. All that the Father has is mine; therefore I said that he will take what is mine and declare it to you.'" (ESV)

John 16:12-15 (Jesus is speaking) "'I have so much more to tell you but you would not be able [take it all in you would go into overload] to handle it now. But when she is [5]come, the Spirit of truth, she will [1]take you by the hand and guide you into the path of all truth. She will not draw attention to herself but will communicate and [1]unveil everything she hears and discerns [2]from a heavenly perspective about the things that is [are] [3]about to happen [3]within you. (While spirit is in the neuter generative voice, truth is feminine. In Hebrew, the word for spirit is "ruach" which is feminine. The word [1] (I can't display the Hebrew or Greek symbols used here for this word), is from odos, the pathway and hegeomai, the strengthened for of agoo, to lead, thus officially appointed Guide. The word [2] anangellei, is from ana, upwards, above and angello, is often translated Shepherd-Messenger or Messiah;  it has two components, ago to lead as a Shepherd leads and agele a herd of cattle or a company. The word [3] umin, is the personal pronoun, you in the Dative case, also pointing to location "in." The things about to happen, [4] erchomena , the Present Participle describes an action thought of as simultaneous with the action of the main verb, [5] elthay, is come. "When she, the Spirit of Truth, is come [hotan elthei ekeinos, to pneuma tes aletheias]. Indefinite relative clause [ hotan and the second Aorist active subjunction of erchomai, whenever she comes." The Mood of the Greek verb, in this case the subjunctive, expresses the mode in which the idea of the verb is employed.) The Holy Spirit will endorse my [1] opinion of you by taking that which is mine and [2] interpreting it [3] in you. (The word often translated glory, [1] doxa is from dokeo, to form an opinion. The word [2] anangello, is from ana, always points upwards to the things that are above the earth's perspective. [3] Umin, personal pronoun, you in the Dative case, also pointing to location "in." ) The Father and I enjoy all things in common - even to the finest detail - because this is so, I said that the Close Companion esteems my glory and [2] lays a hold of that which in within me and declares it within you from [1] heavens point of view. ([1] Ana, upwards; The best texts read [2] lambanei, takes, instead of, lempsetai, shall take. The relation between the Son and the Spirit is present and constant.)

I am deliberately keeping this short because of the ground that is covered within the chapter. The LORD willing we will begin next time at verse 16 with its speaking of Joy.

The saga of "The Secret of GOD", part 16 the renewed mind.

Beginning chapter 16 of John's synoptic gospel, which begins with the warning addressed to His followers as religious and religions outsiders, as it carries the thought flow over from 15. Though this did not register with Peter for some time after the Lord's ascension. As he still clung to the old systems and customs of Judaism and worked among them until his execution. Then Jesus speaks on the Holy Spirit whom He will send to fill not only His place but who will reside within all who would but believe Him! The early churches added a word under the influence of the world order, this word has lead to much confusion and evil over the centuries. This word we could possibly link to another word in Genesis 3:15, here is found the word heel, and the early church word is penitence or re-penitence. Both are to bind, restrict and to holdback, to cause to stumble; more on this point later.

John 16:1-3, 4 (Jesus is speaking) These things have I spoken unto you, that ye should not be offended. They shall put you out of the synagogues: yea, the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth God service. And these things will they do unto you, because they have not known the Father, nor me.
But these things have I told you, that when the time shall come, ye may remember that I told you of them. And these things I said not unto you at the beginning, because I was with you.'" (KJV)

John 16:1-3, 4 (Jesus is speaking) "'I have said all these things to you to keep you from falling away. They will put you out of the synagogues. Indeed, the hour is coming when whoever kills you will think he is offering service to God. And they will do these things because they have not known the Father, nor me.
But I have said these things to you, that when their hour comes you may remember that I told them to you. I did not say these things to you from the beginning, because I was with you. '" (ESV)

John 16:1-3, 4 (Jesus is speaking) "'I have communicated these things to you so you will not be embarrassed about your scandalous association with me. You will be kicked out of their synagogues and there will be times where those who will kill you will think that they have done GOD a favor! They will do these things becasue they know neither the Father nor me.
I have told you all this in advance so that when it happens you will remember this conversation. While I was with you there was no need for me to tell you about these things.'" (The Mirror)

John 16:5-11 (Jesus is speaking) "'But now I go my way to him that sent me; and none of you asketh me, "Whither goest thou?" But because I have said these things unto you, sorrow hath filled your heart. Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you. And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: Of sin, because they believe not on me; Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more; Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged.'" (KJV)

John 16:5-11 (Jesus is speaking) "'But now I am going to him who sent me, and none of you asks me, "Where are you going?" But because I have said these things to you, sorrow has filled your heart. Nevertheless, I tell you the truth: it is to your advantage that I go away, for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you. But if I go, I will send him to you. And when he comes, he will convict the world concerning sin and righteousness and judgment: concerning sin, because they do not believe in me; concerning righteousness, because I go to the Father, and you will see me no longer; concerning judgment, because the ruler of this world is judged.'" (ESV)

John 16:5-11 (Jesus is speaking) "'But now I am going away to be face to face with him who sent me! And here you are not even asking me to explain to you what I am about to do, since you are so worried about your own future! Now listen up! Hear me, my departure is not to disadvantage you; everything that is about to happen, brings conclusion and bears together what the Prophets pointed to! This will be to your absolute advantage! If I do not go away, your [1]Companion cannot come to you, but if I go I will send to you One to be [2]face to face with you defining your very being. ([1]Parakletos, is from para and kaleo; redefining our original being in the closest possible association and kindred companionship; closer to you that your breath! [Genesis 1:26-27, 2:7] Again the word [2]pros is used!) In this capacity of close companionship with you, the Holy Spirit comes to convince the world concerning sin, righteousness and judgment: the Holy Spirit in you will persuade them concerning their sin, which boils down to a bankrupt, distorted identity due to their indifference to me. (The world's unbelief and indifference to Jesus is the very cause of their bankruptcy! The word for sin, is hamartia and is from ha, negative and meros, portion or form, thus to be without your allotted portion or without form, pointing to a disorientated, distorted or bankrupt identity; the word meros, is the stem of the word morphe, as in 2Corinthians 3:18 where the word metamorphe, with form, [transform] is the opposite of hamartia - without form. Sin is to live out of context with our original blueprint of one's design; to behave out of tune with GOD's original harmony.) In this union with you, the great Companion will also convince the wolrd of righteousness because in my disappearing out of sight, to be face to face with the father, the Spirit of truth will interpret the conclusion of my mission which is humanity's association in me and their redeemed innocence! The intimate union with my Father that I displayed while present with you in my physical body will now be made visible in you! Then the world will be convinced that the judgment that was their due was accomplished when the ruler of this world system was judged! (In Jesus dying humanity's death, closure was brought to the system of the Law of works and performance as dictating and defining human life. In humanity's co-crucifixion and joint-descent in Jesus into their hell and in their co-resurrection and co-elevation to be seated together with him in heavenly places! Look at John 5:21-22, 12:31-33; Hosea 6:2; Ephesians 2:5-6, Colossians 3:1-3, Romans 4:25, Acts 17:29-31, 1Peter 1:10-11, Hebrews 1:1-3.) (The Mirror)

The LORD will we will pick things back up with verse 12 next time.

The saga of "The Secret of GOD", part 15.1 the renewed mind.

We are now at verse 18 of John 15. After this chapter the LORD willing we will look at Judgment and all that was involved in the, "It is Finished" work of the Cross. As I stated at the beginning of this chapter's study it is the Lord Jesus' discourse given here. Listen as always to His every word!

John 15:18-25, 26-27 (Jesus is speaking) "'If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you. If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you. Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also. But all these things will they do unto you for my name's sake, because they know not him that sent me. If I had not come and spoken unto them, they had not had sin: but now they have no cloke for their sin. He that hateth me hateth my Father also. If I had not done among them the works which none other man did, they had not had sin: but now have they both seen and hated both me and my Father. But this cometh to pass, that the word might be fulfilled that is written in their law, They hated me without a cause.
But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me: And ye also shall bear witness, because ye have been with me from the beginning.'" (KJV)

John 15:18-25, 26-27 (Jesus is speaking) "'If the world hates you, know that it has hated me before it hated you. If you were of the world, the world would love you as its own; but because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you. Remember the word that I said to you: 'A servant is not greater than his master.' If they persecuted me, they will also persecute you. If they kept my word, they will also keep yours. But all these things they will do to you on account of my name, because they do not know him who sent me. If I had not come and spoken to them, they would not have been guilty of sin, but now they have no excuse for their sin. Whoever hates me hates my Father also. If I had not done among them the works that no one else did, they would not be guilty of sin, but now they have seen and hated both me and my Father. But the word that is written in their Law must be fulfilled: 'They hated me without a cause.'
But when the Helper comes, whom I will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth, who proceeds from the Father, he will bear witness about me. And you also will bear witness, because you have been with me from the beginning.'" (ESV)

John 15:18-25, 26-27 (Jesus is speaking) "'Know that the world-system hated me first whenever you encounter their context in your love for one another. If your lives were still the product of this world-system you would enjoy their [1]applause and friendship; but they can't stand you because their mold no longer has any hold on you, now that you have discovered your authentic identity in my [2]declaration of who you are designed to be. ([1]Phileo, friendship. Again the word [2]eklegomai is used. Look at 3:31, We are dealing with two dimension here, the one coming from above presides over all - while the reasoning from a mere earthy perspective is confined to communicate from an earthy point of view. The conversation realized as originating in heaven has the final say. Also 3:13 No one can fully engage in heaven's perspective, unless one's heavenly origin is realized and acknowledged! The Son of man declares humanity's co-genesis from above!) Remember that I told you that within the environment and association of servant and Master, what happens to the Master happens also to the servant - the servant is not treated any differently - if they hunted me down, they will hunt you down; if they treasured my word they would also treasure yours as well. They will do all these things to you because of your association with me, since they have no regard for him who sent me. My arrival and my conversation, [the logos becoming flesh] removed any possible excuse of ignorance they could have had to continue in their distorted pattern of life. In my absence they would have had no sin, but now they have no valid excuse. To dishonor me is to dishonor my Father. If I had not accomplished in them the works which nobody else has ever performed they would have had reason to remain trapped in their distorted pattern of life; yet, inspite of what they have witnessed with their own eyes, they continue to despise my Father and I. Their hatred for me fulfills the word of their Law. (As recorded in Psalm 69:4, They that hate me without a cause and in Psalm 35:19, Let not those rejoice over me who are wrongfully my foes, and let not those wink the eye who hate me without cause.)
But when the close Companion comes, who I will send to you from the immediate presence of the Father, the Spirit of Truth who originates and proceeds out of the Father, this One will confirm everything about me. You also will confirm everything about me since you are with me from the beginning. (You now know your joint I-am-ness together with me from the beginning [Genesis 1:26, 27].)

Now shortly, the LORD willing, I shall by the Holy Spirit, begin to share the judgment that took place on the Cross

The saga of "The Secret of GOD", part 15 the renewed mind.

Okay, here we are in John chapter 15 of  by chapter study of John's synoptic gospel, the highest of the synoptic books as far as spirituality is measured. It ranks with those written by Paul and those after. Remember that the Lord Jesus spoke in many of His teaching in divine or spiritual language which to this very day causes many to stumble all over themselves when doing a translation or teaching. Because without the Holy Spirit's indwelling there is no understanding of GOD's wisdom or purpose. Right out of the gate the Lord unloads with a blast of a cannon load, as He speaks without interruption through this chapter.

John 15:1-11, 12-17 (Jesus is speaking) "'I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman. Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit. Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you. Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned. If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples. As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love. If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love. These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.
This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you. Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you. Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you. Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you. These things I command you, that ye love one another.'" (KJV)

John 15:1-11, 12-17 (Jesus is speaking) "'I am the true vine, and my Father is the vinedresser. Every branch in me that does not bear fruit he takes away, and every branch that does bear fruit he prunes, that it may bear more fruit. Already you are clean because of the word that I have spoken to you. Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in me. I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing. If anyone does not abide in me he is thrown away like a branch and withers; and the branches are gathered, thrown into the fire, and burned. If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. By this my Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit and so prove to be my disciples. As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Abide in my love. If you keep my commandments, you will abide in my love, just as I have kept my Father's commandments and abide in his love. These things I have spoken to you, that my joy may be in you, and that your joy may be full.
'This is my commandment,' that you love one another as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends. You are my friends if you do what I command you. No longer do I call you servants, for the servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all that I have heard from my Father I have made known to you. You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit and that your fruit should abide, so that whatever you ask the Father in my name, he may give it to you. These things I command you, so that you will love one another.'" (ESV)

John 15:1-11, 12-17 (Jesus is speaking) "'I am the authentic [1]vine! My Father is the farmer. (The word [1] ampelos, grapevine; is from amphi, around and halon, is from the base of heilisso, to roll up or together; thus a vine coiling about a support. "On the Maccabean coinage Israel was represented by a vine." Jesus is the genuine Messianic vine. Not the empty vine Hosea 10:1 mentions. Look at Matthew 21:33.) Every offshoot in me that does not bear fruit, he [1] lifts up from the ground and fastens it to the stake and ever fruit bearing part he dresses in order to maximize its yield. (The word [1]airei and [2]kathairei are employed to suggest the lifting of the branches as well as the dressing process which includes pruning. Airei, is from airoo, to elevate, to lift up, to air; katharei, is from kata, in this case signifying intensity, and again airoo. Lifting up to manage a grape vine's canopy which will influence not only the potential yield of the crop but also the quality of the grapes due to the access of air and sunlight needed for the grapes to ripen fully and for preventing various grape diseases. When the Greeks began to colonize southern Italy in the 8th century BC, they called the land Oenotria which could be interpreted as "stake" or land of staked vines, growing upwardly. The grapevine is attached to stakes, or posts, thus making sure the branches grow upwardly. They are also dressed and pruned to be positioned in such a way that their fruit would be easily accessible. Hina karpon pleiona pherei, purpose clause with hina and present active subjunctive of phero, "that it may keep on bearing more fruit" (more and more). The Father's vineyard tool is his Word, incarnated in sonship; as in Hebrews 1:1-3 and 4:12. Hebrews 1:1-3 Throughout ancient times GOD spoke in many fragments and glimpses of prophetic thought to our fathers. Now, the sum total of this conversation with us, has finally culminated in a Son. In his sonship, GOD declares him heir of all things. He is, after all, the author of the ages. Jesus is the crescendo of GOD's conversation with humanity; he gives context and content to the authentic thought. Everything that GOD had in mind for humanity is voiced in him. Jesus is GOD's language. Jesus is the radiant and flawless expression of the person of GOD. He makes the glorious intent of GOD visible and mirrors the character and evry attribute of GOD in human form...The message GOD spoke to us in Christ, is the most life giving and dynamic influence in us, cutting like a surgeon's scalpel, sharper than a soldier's sword, piercing to the deepest core of human conscience, to the dividing of soul and spirit; ending the dominance of the sense realm and its neutralizing effect upon the human spirit. In this way humanity's spirit is freed to become the ruling influence again in the thoughts and intentions of the heart. The scutiny of this word detects every possible disease, discerning the body's deepest secrets where joint and bone-marrow meet. )The moment we cease from our own efforts to justify ourselves, by yielding to the integrity of the message that announces the success of the Cross, GOD's word is triggered into action. What GOD spoke to us in sonship (the incarnation), radiates his image and likeness in our redeemed innocence. [Hebrews 1:1-3] This word powerfully penetrates and impacts our whole being; body, soul and spirit.) Your personal pruning and dressing already happened in our conversation; The word made flesh in my person and language is how the Father prepares and sets you up for fruit bearing. Our seamless union, you in me and I in you, is pictured in the vine, the shoot cannot bear fruit outside of this union. In its abiding in the vine, fruit happens naturally - as with your abiding in me. I am the vine and you are the branches; it is the one who understand this mutual union that naturally bears much fruit - which is impossible to happen apart from me.[1]Every area of human life that does not continue to be entwined in this place of seamlessness in me, [2] was already cast forth where it has [3] withered away and is gathered to be burned as [4] firewood. (The word [1]tis is an enclitic indefinite pronoun; some or any person or object. So, instead of 'everyone'' I chose to see tis here as referring to everything, meaning every area of your life. As mentioned in verse 2, the 'dressing' or 'pruning' is not in judgment but in order to maximize the yield! GOD's Faith sees humanity fully associated, included and represented in his incarnation. He calls things which were not yet visible as being visible, because they are in his sight! Romans 4:17! "When GOD changes Abram's name to Abraham, he made a public statement that he would be the father of all nations. (Genesis 17:5) Here we see Abraham faced with GOD's faith; the kind of faith that resurrects the dead and calls things which are not (visible yet) as though they were." Human failure in every tense and sense of the word was dealt with in Jesus' death, burial and resurrection. The Aorist Passive tense, [2] eblethe, denotes a momentary act in the past tense, indicating that it was cast forth. The next verb is also in the Aorist Passive, [3] exeranthe, it was withered away, from xerainoo, to wither. The incarnate Christ is to enter humanity's judgment and hell and bear the ultimate victorious fruit in co-raising us together with him. The single grain of wheat did not abide alone but bore much fruit! (John 12:24) Look at 12:31-32, This is the judgment of this world; it is the moment where the authority of the world-system is cast out! [The serpent's head is about to be crushed! genesis 3:15; Colossians 2:14-15] Look at Colossians 3:1 Engage your thought with your co-crucifixion and coresurrection and co-seatedness in Christ! And 12:32 When I am lifted up from the earth, I will draw all judgment unto me! [4] From living fruit-bearing branches to firewood, which becomes recycled energy again!) My words find voice in you. with your abiding in me and my words abiding within you a conversation is inspired where you will request that which arises in your desire from our union and it shall come to pass for you! (this I personally know) These union-inspired desires bear the very fruit that endorses the Father's glory! This is where true discipleship is born. (The Aorist tense; was glorified. As in John 15:6, making the point when the Father's glory was realized in the perfect union of the believer's will with Christ's.) The love of the Father for me is my love for you - abide in my love for you! By [1]treasuring the [2]Prophetic conclusion of my life you will remain constantly engulfed in my love even as I treasure the completeness of my Father's prophetic purpose and abide in his love embrace. ([1] tereo, to treasure, to guard; entole, look at the note at 14:15.) I have spoken these things to you so that my joy will continuously infuse you - you don't have to invent your own if you can tap into mine! This is the ultimate bliss!
I [1] advise you to discover your love for one another mirrored in my love for you; this is the [1]conclusion of my mission. (The word often translated assignment or commandment, [1] entole, is from en in and telo, complete.) There is no greater expression of love than the love that leads someone to lay down his life for his friends. ("Self-sacrifice is the mark of love." ) Our friendship is endorsed in your continual engagement with [1] the conclusion of my mission. (Again the word [1] entole, assignment or conclusion.) I do not communicate with you on a slave - boss basis; slaves have no clue what their Master is about to do. I talk to you as my friends telling you everything that I have heard in my conversation and intimate association with my Father. This I explain to you in the [2] clearest possible terms. (The preposition [1] para is used, pointing to close companionship; the word [2]gnoritso means to have thorough knowledge of.) I did not begin in you; you began in me! I am not your idea; you are mine! I have strategically positioned you in order that you may abound in much fruit bearing, where life leads you - fruit that would ceaselessly continue this same incarnate life union with me! From within this place, anything you desire has already been granted you by my Father. (The word, [1] eklegomia, traditionally associated with the idea of election, has two components, ek, a preposition that indicates source or origin and lego, meaning to communicate ideas; thus, the original blueprint-word, the logos; see John 1:1-3 and 12. The word becomes flesh in the fruit you eat! The many are called, [kaleo] but few are "chose" eklegomia thus, the masses are defined by my name but few realize their true origin in me!) All these things are the conclusion of my assignment to you and find their context in your love for one another. Know that the world-system hated me first whenever you encounter their resistance against you.'" (The Mirror)

The LORD willing we will pick this back up here at verse 18 next time. As I have stated John's message is the message of the ages in depth and meaning.

The saga of "The Secret of GOD", part 14.4 the renewed mind.

We are studying John's synoptic gospel chapter 14, now on to verse 25, to the end of this chapter. And the promises of Christ in Jesus that are so necessary for us in active form today, and active in all of those who awaken and receive of His revelation. Activated by the judgment of mans sin and religion hung as in the flesh of man covering Christ Jesus. And by this brought humanity back to the state of a Genesis 2 being.

John 14:25-31 (Jesus is speaking) "'These things have I spoken unto you, being yet present with you.  But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I. And now I have told you before it come to pass, that, when it is come to pass, ye might believe. Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me. But that the world may know that I love the Father; and as the Father gave me commandment, even so I do. Arise, let us go hence.'" (KJV)

John 14:25-31 (Jesus is speaking) "'These things I have spoken to you while I am still with you. But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you. Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid. You heard me say to you, 'I am going away, and I will come to you.' If you loved me, you would have rejoiced, because I am going to the Father, for the Father is greater than I. And now I have told you before it takes place, so that when it does take place you may believe. I will no longer talk much with you, for the ruler of this world is coming. He has no claim on me, but I do as the Father has commanded me, so that the world may know that I love the Father. Rise, let us go from here.'" (ESV)

John 14:25-31 (Jesus is speaking) "'This has been my constant conversation with you in our time together. The Holy Spirit is about to become your closest of friends and companion, sent by my Father in my name to represent me, to teach you all things and remind you of everything that I have spoken to you. Thus my word will (be activated within you) continue to find a voice in (and through) you. Peace be with you! I give you my own peace - this is not the kind the world gives - this is peace in the midst of troubled times; therefore you have nothing to fear! Let not your hearts be timid (troubled). You have heard me say that I go away to come to be face to face with you; now if you're love with me (is true) you would not be threatened by the idea of my departure, but you would rejoice since I'll be going to the Father and my Father is greater than me. Form now on we will be present in a much closer capacity to you than what I could ever be while I am with you in the flesh! What I now tell you is to prepare you for what is about to happen so that when it happens, you will not be shaken in your belief but stand strong. In my going [into your judgment] my silence should not disturb you; [like a lamb led to slaughter, he opened not his mouth] the ruler of this world - order comes but this "voice" has nothing in common with mine - there is no [1]resemblance or resonance in them! (The word [1]echo, to have, to hold, to resonate.) Thus the world will understand my love for my Father and it will be clear to them that I have accomplished his [1]Prophetic purpose. Arise let's go! (look at John 14:15 for [1]entelomai. They rose from the table, left the city, and went towards the garden of Olives, or garden of Gethsemane, on the road to which, a part of the following discorse was delivered. It was now about midnight, and the moon was almost full, it being the 14th day of her age, about the time in which the Jewish Passover was to be slain.)

Jesus has just set the stage for what is about to take place, our and the worlds judgment. We, the LORD willing, will look at chapter 15 next.

The saga of "The Secret of GOD", part 14.3 the renewed mind.

Picking the flow back up at verse 18 where Jesus is revealing the giving (releasing) and the activity of the Holy Spirit, the same Spirit that is given us at our birthing, the breath of GOD's life in us, giving us all what we know as life. Now a thought just came to me (as I was placing the first section of this study here), what if and I do mean "IF" at the changing of the epoch is when GOD started giving of His Spirit to man at mans birth? But I do not think that this is so, because the ancients also spoke as His Spirit gave them utterance. Many said, "that the Spirit came upon them." But this was different with King David as just one example. Or am I confused?

John 14:18-24 (Jesus is speaking) "'I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you. Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also. At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you. He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.' Judas saith unto him, not Iscariot, "Lord, how is it that thou wilt manifest thyself unto us, and not unto the world?" Jesus answered and said unto him, 'If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him. He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me.'" (KJV)

John 14:18-24 (Jesus is speaking) "'I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you. Yet a little while and the world will see me no more, but you will see me. Because I live, you also will live. In that day you will know that I am in my Father, and you in me, and I in you. Whoever has my commandments and keeps them, he it is who loves me. And he who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him and manifest myself to him.' Judas (not Iscariot) said to him, "Lord, how is it that you will manifest yourself to us, and not to the world?" Jesus answered him, 'If anyone loves me, he will keep my word, and my Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him. Whoever does not love me does not keep my words. And the word that you hear is not mine but the Father's who sent me.'" (ESV)

John 14:18-24 (Jesus is speaking) "'At no time will you be orphaned or abandoned by me; I come to abide [1]face to face with you. (I come to be no less face to face with you than what I've always been face to face with the Father from the beginning for all eternity. The Holy Spirit does not replace but rather reinforces the presence of Christ's closeness of the Father. Again John uses the word [1]pros, face to face. Look also at John 1:1) In yet a little while and the world will no longer see me but I will be tangibly visible to you in the very life we share together. (As a youngster through today I have known this to be a truth statement of fact.) In that day you will know that we are in a seamless union with one another! I am in my Father, you are in me and I am in you! (The incarnation does not divide the Trinity; the incarnation celebrates the redeemed inclusion of humanity! Picture 4 circles with the one fitting into the other - The outer circle is the Father, then Jesus in the Father, then us in Jesus and the Holy Spirit in us! This spells inseparation, intimate oneness! Note that it is not our knowing that positions Jesus in the Father or us in them or the Holy Spirit in us! Our knowing simply awakes us to the reality of our redeemed oneness! Gold does not become gold when it is discovered but it certainly become currency!) Whoever [1]resonates the completeness of my prophetic purpose cannot but in love with me and also find themselves to be fully participating in my Father's love and I will love this one and make myself distinctly known and real to each one individually. In this embrace of inseparable union love rules! (Intimacy is not the result of suspicious scrutiny but the inevitable fruit of trust! [1]Echo, to have; to hold; to resonate. The word, [2]tereo, means to treasure; to safeguard. The word, entole, which is often translated commandment or precept, or assignment, has two components, en, in and telos, from tello, to set out for a definite point or goal; properly the point aimed at as a limit, that is, by implication, the conclusion of an act or state, the result; the ultimate or prophetic purpose. Strong's G5056) Judas, not Iscariot, said to him, "Lord, how is it that you will make yourself visible to us and not to the world?" (This is the fourth interruption of the talk of Jesus (by Peter; 13:36; by Thomas, 14:5; by Philip, 14:8 and now by Judas.) Jesus answered, 'This is so much more than a mere casual, suspicious or indifferent observation, whoever loves me will treasure my words and know my Father's love and we will come face to face with this one and make our abode with [para] each one individually.' (We will make our abode, [1]mone, the same Greek word that is translated mansions in the KJV in the former part of this chapter. GOD doesn't dwell in buildings made by human hands - GOD has no other address but 'you'- man life!)

I will stop here and the next time, the LORD willing, I shall resume with verse 25 and finish this important chapter. Then some place along to way I want to look at "Judgment," as a stand along study. The LORD, impressed me with this in the wee hours earlier.

The saga of "The Secret of GOD", part 14.2 the renewed mind.

Okay, here we are looking at verse 15 of John's synoptic gospel where Jesus breaks from a mystical heavenly language to open up with His divine mission of humanity's restoration through Himself, the Godhead in One person. He introduces the Holy Spirit who is hidden within us all and in all actuality has been all along. Even though because of the tampering of the original text of the Words of GOD as stated elsewhere it would look and seem other wise. For when we are born of woman and we draw of our first breath we are given GOD'S Spirit, the Holy Spirit who from that moment on resides within us. GOD never ever has left us to our own devices, No Never!

John 14:15-17 (Jesus is speaking) "'If ye love me, keep my commandments. And I will pray the Father, and he shall give (awaken) you another Comforter, that he may abide within you forever; Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.'" (KJV)

John 14:15-17 (Jesus is speaking) "'If you love me, you will keep my commandments. And I will ask the Father, and he will give (awaken) you another Helper, to be within you forever, even the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees him nor knows him. You know him, for he dwells with you and will be in you.'" (ESV)

John 14:15-17 (Jesus is speaking) "'In your loving me you will greatly value and treaasure [1]the prophetic conclusion of my ministry. (The word [1]entole, which is often translated commandment or precept, or assignment, has two components, en, in and telos, from tello, to set out for a definite point or goal; properly the point aimed at as a limit, that is, by implication, the conclusion of an act or state, the result; the ultimate or prophetic purpose. Strong's G5056. Look at 1John 2:3) And there, in my face to face agreement with the Father, he will give you [1]another [2]close companion to be within you - in such an intimate way that my immediate presence will be fully perceived by you within the timeless zone of the ages! (The Greek words [1]allos and heteros are both usually translated as "another" in English. Yet allos means "another of the same kind" and heteros means "another of a different type." The word, [2]parakaleo, alongside, closest possible proximity of nearness; and kaleo, to identify by name, to surname. Romans 1:12, parakletos: And so we will be mutually refreshed in the participation and reflection of our common faith. [The word, sumparakaleo, comes from sum, together; para, is a preposition indicating close proximity, a thing proceeding from a sphere of influence, with a suggestion of union of place of residence, to have sprung from its author and giver, originating from, denoting the point from which an action originates, intimate connection, and kaleo, meaning to identify by name, to surname; thus, alongside, closest possible proximity of nearness, Jesus introduces the Holy Spirit in the same capacity, parakletos, meaning close companion, kinsman. Romans 12:8 or to just be there alongside someone to remind them of their true identity; always let faith set the pace. You are intertwined with your gift, wrapped up in the same parcel. Lead with passion; minister mercy cheerfully. [parakaleo, alongside, closest possible proximity of nearness; metadidomi [look at Romans 1:11], and haplous from ha, a particle of union and pleko, to point, braid or weave together. See you cannot distance yourself from your giving! What GOD now has in us is gift wrapped to the world [Ephesians 4:1. 2Corinthians 1:4 There is no contradiction of any proportion that we can possibly face that has what it takes to exasperate us or distance us from GOD. Our consciousness of his inseparable nearness immediately reinforces us to extend the same tangible closeness to you in your difficult times, and together we snuggle up in the comfort of his intimate embrace! [Paul uses the word, parakaleo, which comes from para, close proximity, and kaleo, to identify by name; often translated, to comfort.] Philippians 2:1 In Christ our association is most intimate; we articulate his love story; entwined in spirit communion and tender affections. The word paramuthion, is from para + muthos, a myth or tale, a story of instruction, told in heart language. [Philippians 2:2 Your Christ mindedness completes my delight! You co-echo the same agape; we are soul mates, resonating the same thoughts.] 1Thessalonians 4:10 I know your affection for your fellow family throughout Macedonia. From this place of our close union in our common origin we anticipate the ever increasing impact of love's irresistible impression. [Our common origin, parakaleo.] 1Thessalonians 5:11 Continue, as you so eloquently do, to edify one another by cultivating the enviroment of your close association in your joint-genesis. [The word parakaleo is here translated as our joint-genesis]) Your eternal companion is the Spirit of truth who cannot be grasped by the world since their visual horizon is veiled and they are not able to understand what they cannot see. But you know because you are already acquated with the Spirit in me and this same Spirit will reside within you. (Spirit dimension is not a foreign place neither is the Spirit a foreign person to you!)'" (The Mirror)

The LORD willing we will take up our next verse, with 18.

The saga of "The Secret of GOD", part 14.1 the renewed mind.

Here we are again in John's synoptic gospel chapter 14 picking up with verse 8, where the Lord just seem to unload on Phillip.

John 14:8-14 "Philip saith unto him, "Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us." Jesus saith unto him, 'Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, 'Shew us the Father?' Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works. Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works' sake. Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.'" (KJV)

John 14:8-14 "Philip said to him, "Lord, show us the Father, and it is enough for us." Jesus said to him, 'Have I been with you so long, and you still do not know me, Philip? Whoever has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, 'Show us the Father?' Do you not believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in me? The words that I say to you I do not speak on my own authority, but the Father who dwells in me does his works. Believe me that I am in the Father and the Father is in me, or else believe on account of the works themselves. Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever believes in me will also do the works that I do; and greater works than these will he do, because I am going to the Father. Whatever you ask in my name, this I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask me anything in my name, I will do it.'" (ESV)

John 14:8-14 "Phillip said to him, "Lord, show us the Father, then we will be satisfied." 'Phillip, I have been with you for a long time, and yet you haven't really known me? To see me is to see the Father! How can you still say, "Show us the Father?" (Phillip was the one who introduced Nathaniel to Jesus in the beginning of their walk with him. "We have found him of whom Moses and the Prophets wrote!" John 1:46 The Father cannot appear in any more visible or tangible manner than what he did in Jesus, the incarnate Word. Any idea one could possibly have about GOD that is unlike Jesus, is not the Father! He is the radiant and flawless expression of the person of GOD. He exemplified the character and evry attitude of GOD in human form. Hebrews 1:3; Colossians 1:15.) Are you not convinced that i am in the Father and that the father is in me? We are in seamless union. The words that I speak to you are not my independent opinion or ideas; the Father in me addresses you; this conversation then translated into the Father's action unveiled in my doing. The fact that the Father seems distant or invisible to you does not mean that he is absent. In me he is very present with you! You cannot claim to know me while you ignore him - we are inseparable. Humanity, I dare you [plural] to believe that I am in the Father and the father is in me - if it seems far fetched, then believe me because of what I have done and what I am about to do. It is the father in me who defines me. My works exhibit his resolve. (Jesus did not come to persuade the father about us, he came to persuade us about the Father. There is nothing in the incarnate Word that is in conflict with who GOD is! John 1:1-3 If you underestimate me, you underestimate my Father - and you underestimate you!) I want you to be fully convinced about this, anyone whose belief concludes in who I am, will also do the works that I do. And because of my [1]relocation to continue to be [2]face to face with my Father, the works that the believer will do, will be of greatest proportion and of global influence; the father is as present in you as he is in me. (The word, [1] poreuomai, to transfer, relocate, to travel. again the word, [2]pros, face to face. Jesus is multiplied in us. ) And whatever you desire in my name, that will I do that the Father may be glorified in the Son. Your sonship is endorsed in my sonship. (The first occurrence of the phrase, In my name, en toi onomati mou. Look at John 14:26, 15:16, 13:23-24, 26. "If this name, Jesus Christ is in the believer's consciousness, the element in which the prayerful activity moves; so that thus that name, embracing the whole revelation, is that which specifically measures and defines the disposition, feeling, object, and content of prayer. The express use of the name of Jesus therein is of no specific token; the question is of the spirit and mind of him who prays.")  If you ask me anything, in knowing what my name entitles you to, that will I perform. (The use of 'me' here is supported by Aleph B 33 andthe Vulgate Syriac Peshitta manuscripts. Aleph is the famous Sinaiticus, the great discovery of Constantine von Tischendorf, the only surviving complete copy of the New Testament written prior to the ninth century; [4th century])

I will, the LORD willing pick this up at verse 15 in our next visit.

The saga of "The Secret of GOD", part 14 the renewed mind.

We are now entering into John 14 where the Lord Jesus discloses GOD's plain to redeem His Creation, namely humanity in the whole, not a fragment or a fragmential port or part. That's right the world, also called an ocean or sea, of humanity as it is better known as in scripture, the kingdom realm of humanity. Each wonder (miracle) that Jesus did revealed His names of title under the old testament as Yehovah. Jesus as the Christ will soon be the Redeemer, Love child of GOD. As mans religions work to cause distress and opposition, by way of a fallen and wrong ideology of wrong mindset. A mindset set on the "I-am-not" tree; the tree of knowledge of good and evil. Okay, Jesus is about to bring to humanity a new and living way, where as the Word put on mans flesh now takes on it's own life regenesised in receptiveness, awakened humanity.

John 14:1-8 (Jesus is speaking) "'Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.' Thomas saith unto him, "Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way?" Jesus saith to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.' Philip saith to him, "Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us." (KJV)

John 14:1-8 (Jesus is speaking) "'Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me. In my Father's house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also. And you know the way to where I am going.' Thomas said to him, "Lord, we do not know where you are going. How can we know the way?" Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. If you had known me, you would have known my Father also. From now on you do know him and have seen him.' Philip said to him, "Lord, show us the Father, and it is enough for us." (ESV)

John 14:1-8 (Jesus is speaking) "'Set your troubled hearts at ease by letting your belief [1]conclude in GOD as you rest your confidence in me. (The preposition [1] eis, means a point reached in conclusion.) What makes my Father's house home, is your place in it! If this was not the ultimate conclusion of my mission why would I even bother to do what I am about to do if it was not to prepare a place for you? I have come to persuade you of a place of seamless union where you belong. (Look at John 8:35-36 The difference between the slave and the son is that the slave only works there, for the son the father's house is home! With the freedom found in sonship there is [1]no pretense! [Free indeed! The word, [1]ontoos, indeed is the opposite to what is pretended.] What Jesus is about to accomplish in his death and resurrection will forever shift the tide of mans religious works and pretense and performance from the typical slave-mentality to the freedom and reality of sonship! ) The proportions of what I will accomplish are astronomically astonishing! I will [1]prepare a highway for you, just as in the Oriental custom, where people would go before a king to level the roads to make it possible for royalty to journey with ease and comfort. By [2]fully identifying myself with you I will fully identify you with me so that you may be completely at home where I am! (Jesus sees the full scope of his work: by submitting himself to our judgment and hellish fury, he would enter or due death and gloom of hell and thereby strip every principality and dominion of its judgment and power-play over the human race, Colossians 2:14-15. The word [1]hetoimazo suggests a leveling of the road to make it passable for kings! [Isaiah 40:3-5] The word [2]paralambano, carries two components, para, a preposition indicating close proximity, a thing proceeding from a sphere of influence, with a suggestion of union of place of residence, to have sprung from its author and giver, originating from, denoting the point from which an action originates, intimate connection; and lammbano, to comprehend, grasp, to identify with. He would lead us in his triumphant procession on high out of our darkness into his marvelous light, where we may now participate in the union of the ages - "and take you to myself so that you may be where I am, face to face with the Father!" Hosea 6:2; Ephesians 4:8; Colossians 1:13, John 1:12. Look at John 1:18 Until this moment GOD remained invisible to humanity; now the authentic, incarnate begotten Son, the blueprint of our design who represents the innermost of our being of GOD, the Son who is in the bosom of the Father, brings him into full view! He is the official authority qualified to announce GOD! He is our guide who accurately declares and interprets the invisible GOD within us.) In fact, you [1]have always known this way and where all this is leading me and where I am taking you. (The word, oidate, is the prefect active tense of eido [Strong's G1492, know, with the base G3708 and G3700], to see; to perceive. The Perfect tense denotes an action which is completed in the past, but the effects of which are regarded as continuing into the present. Jesus here appeals to the different level of knowing - not a mere academic knowing but a deeper inner knowing, a remembering like in Psalm 22:27.) Thomas said, "No, we don't get it; we have no idea where you are going with this - how could we possibly have known the way?" Jesus said, 'My I-am-ness [mirrored in you] is your way; this is your truth and also your life! Every single person can now come face to face with the Father entirely because of my doing. If you had known me for who I really am, you would have immediately have recognized my Father in me. Now, with me bringing you back face to face with the Father, you will certainly know him and [1]become fully acquainted with him. (The word [1]horao [G3708] implies encounter.) Phillip said to him, "Lord, [1]show us the father, then we will be satisfied." ([1]Aorist imperative - denoting aspect, not tense; once and for all.)

With our next study I will, the LORD willing, pick things back up with verse 8 again. A thing that I have not done before...!
